Ideal location! Tesco, station (and steam train), 10 mins walk, beach 12 mins walk, shop sells most things 2 mins walk. Pub across road (when open after Covid). The cottage is cosy and homely with fenced and sunny rear garden. This was our first ever visit to Sheringham and we were made very welcome. We also spent four days visiting local National Read moreTrust properties which were extremely dog welcoming - Sheringham Park, Blickling estate (twice) and Felbrigg Hall. :-) :-) Hide

As super property! Ideal location for the town centre, coastal paths, beach and adventurous paths out of the back of Sheringham. The cottage is equipped with all you need, warm and cosy. A lovely welcome pack left for out arrival too. We will certainly return.

Had a lovely time and would be happy to recommend again. The property is in a residential cul de sac about a ten minute walk from the beach.

The property was ideal for 2 of us but wouid be very cramped for 4. Some basics missing, e.g bread bin, washing basket, anti slip mat in bath, first aid kit, not enough glasses. It was as ideal base for us as we were out walking all day

Lovely cozy cottage, we were comfortable for the duration of our stay. Great to have the parking space, as we left the car there for the entire week.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Herring Cottage. The cottage had everything we needed to make it a perfect home away from home and the location was excellent for days out and a short walk to the beach and into Sheringham. We would definitely recommend this cottage and hope to stay again.
