We found the existing positive reviews to be helpful and accurate. This is a lovely property in a a fantastic area. It is not safe to walk dogs immediately from the house but there are lots of beautiful places a short drive away and the garden is safe. There are still a couple of issues with deep cleaning but don't let this put you off. We were a pRead morearty of 5 adults so didn't need to used the second twin room (accessed through the first twin room) which would only really work for children. Hide

Characterful property, with large garden and parking. Needs updating, as looking a bit tired and lacking in some equipment. In a beautiful part of Norfolk, handy for the coast.

A rather tired looking property with overgrown lawns. Inside looked more like a kennel than a cottage, dog hair covered all the carpets and the upholstered furniture was badly stained. Only two of the four bedrooms were made up, booking for 4 adults doesn't necessarily mean 2 couples! No instructions left for the kitchen appliances, we thought the Read morehob was not working but on day 2 discovered an isolation switch turned off in the rear hallway. Hide

You should also point out that one double bedroom is through another double room, which we made work with the younger members of our party, but may not work for everyone.

This is a great spot for a family holiday. The property feels like a home that is lived in which makes it is easy to relax rather than a show home where you are tip toeing around trying not to disturb anything. Great location, quiet village close to the coast.

This is a lovely house which we have stayed in many times over the past 15 years. It is clean and comfortable, light and airy with great views. The only drawback is that if you have dogs there are no safe walks nearby unless you drive a few miles. It is ideal for young children and I would heartily recommend it.

Great location close to a great pub in a pretty village. Overall the house is comfortable, there really isnt enough downstairs room for 8, and the house needs some updating. A decent clean would make it more attractive but we did have a lovely holiday . Would recommend for location and amenities but not for cleanliness.

The most northerly county in the East of England, Norfolk is a land of beautiful contrasts. Visit Sandringham Palace and see where the Queen lives or find out where lavender grows; you could journey to one of the largest seal haul outs in Europe at Blakeney Point or have a traditional day at the seaside at Cromer and Great Yarmouth. The cathedral gilded city of Norwich is a wonderful place to lose yourself either walking the ramparts of Norwich Castle or the RAF Air Defence Radar Museum. The city has an exceptional array of shops, cafes and restaurants to enjoy. Well connected to the national rail and road network, Norfolk is easily accessible from London, the M25 and from major city terminals.

Norfolk is characterised by its horizons and big skies, straight highways and rural trappings. Also, when it comes to attractions, visitors to the county will be spoilt for choice. If you love animals and birds, head to RSPB Titchwell Marsh, or the Cley-Next-The-Sea. With such a long coastline Norfolk boasts some magnificent stretches of beach – favourites include Cromer, Old Hunstanton, Wells-Next-The Sea, the dunes of Winterton-on-Sea, and Brancaster (a favourite for dog owners).
