Holmhurst is a beautiful family home on the coast at Thornham. It lies within the Norfolk Coast Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, 4 miles east of Hunstanton. Built in the traditional style from local carrstone, the three-storey property has been extensively renovated. Holmhurst's unique selling points are its four bathrooms and underfloor heating, but you'll find many unique things, inside and out. From the light-flooded open-plan kitchen and dining room to the lounge's marble fire surround, the magnificent double beds, quirky artworks, mid-century furnishings and capacious grounds, Holmhurst is the epitome of luxury living.

15th century Thornham is separated from the sea by atmospheric marshes, which are a haven for wildlife. The village has three superb pubs, a deli, farm shop and yurt restaurant next door. You're only a mile from the beach, and half a mile from Thornham.

Hunstanton lies 3.5 miles to the west. Visit its Sea Life Sanctuary or let the kids loose in Rainbow Park. Explore Brancaster Bay's sublime beaches (3 miles) or enjoy a salty round of golf at the dramatic Royal West Norfolk Golf Club. Pristine beaches at Wells-next-the-Sea (12 miles) and Blakeney (17 miles) offer more unforgettable memories, in this little corner of paradise.

Well design comfortable spacious accomadation offering a varied age group 2 to 63 and great experience. The 2 lounges mean that different activities can go on at same time. Overall this is a beautiful property in a fantastic location. There was plenty of space for our group of 11. The bedrooms are large and the beds were very comfy. It is located in a beautiful area and we would certainly recommend the property. Holmhurst is a wonderful place for a family holiday with or without dogs. Very comfy and spacious with a large enclosed garden. Well equipped and well located for pubs, beaches, walks and small specialist shops. All within easy reach. Very quiet and tranquil. A must for city folk to unwind.

A fabulous property ,spacious for our adult family group of 10. Warm, clean, comfortable beds, plenty bathrooms The location great , 20-25min walk through woods n fields to the beach 10min walk to lifeboat pub the garden perfect for the dogs We will visit again as we did last Oct 2022 now 2023

This was a very lovely house, with comfortable furniture and very clean beddingg and towels. The garden was lovely and it was even warm enough for us to sit out in the evening. The location is perfect, a ten minute lovely walk to the sea, the local farmshop, deli's and eating pleaces, as well as the two local pubs wee great.

House is in an excellent location, with easy access to great walks and beaches. Good shops and a local Deli close by. A good restaurant and pub within easy walking distance.

Perfect home for large groups (and dogs) in a great position. A few yards up the road is a pizza restaurant, fish and chips, great farm shop, fish shop and more. And a few hundred yards the other way is a deli. Theres a walk out the back to the coast, say half a mile. The best beaches in Norfolk are a short drive away. A lovely large holiday home with super large garden. Our grandchildren had the time of their lives and we enjoyed the space and facilities of this six bedrooms house. Good location near Hunstanton and we enjoyed the 1 mile walk to the beautiful jewel of the Thornham beach reached by a private road outside the house. A lovely house with six spacious bedrooms, large kitchen-dining room, a pair of living rooms and a big garden with lots of shade and seating (very handy on a hot week). The location is great too - just off the road, on a footpath right up to the coast path. Very comfortable and well located cottage. Plenty of space for our group. Garden lovely. In need of a wee bit of TLC but overall a great place to stay.
