A handsome property offering attractive and spacious accommodation for eight guests, enjoying a quiet location in the pretty coastal village of Thornham on Norfolk’s north-west coast.

Holmhurst is a beautiful, traditional home on the outskirts of the coastal Thornham. Built in traditional style from local Carrstone, its 3 stories have recently been renovated, and its unique selling points include 4 bathrooms and underfloor heating. The feel within is of a luxurious farmhouse, bursting with style, charm and luxurious comfort. Families of all ages will love it. With a gravel driveway, paved patio and large garden, planted with mature trees and shrubs, the outside is equally as impressive.

Thornham is just over a mile from the sea, so you'll never be far from a picnic to remember. With three wonderful pubs, a deli, yurt restaurant and farm shop, there's plenty to keep you here. The Lifeboat Inn can be heartily recommended. Thornham's 15th century church is particularly impressive.

Venture a bit further and you're in for a real treat. This landscape is cherished for its vital importance to wildlife, and you'll see this all around, from the Nature Reserves at Holme Dunes and Titchwell Marsh (1 mile), Scolt Head Island (5 miles) and Blakeney (17 miles). The kids will love the seaside charm of Hunstanton (3.5 miles), or you can find refinement at Holkham Hall (8 miles). Holmhurst is waiting for you.

Dogs are charged at £20 each per full or part week.

Please note there is a refundable £200 security deposit for this property payable closer to the start of your holiday.

Further afield, Hunstanton seaside town is 4 miles away, whilst the dog-friendly Brancaster Estate and Brancaster Beach are 4.5 miles away.

The most northerly county in the East of England, Norfolk is a land of beautiful contrasts. From the swooning reed beds and endless maze of waterways in the Norfolk Broads; the unspoilt stretches of fens and shingle spits where bird and wildlife thrive; a famous royal palace and the historic cathedral city of Norwich, this enticing area of England is just waiting to be discovered. Visit Sandringham Palace and see where the Queen lives or find out where lavender grows; you could journey to one of the largest seal haul outs in Europe at Blakeney Point or have a traditional day at the seaside at Cromer and Great Yarmouth. The cathedral gilded city of Norwich is a wonderful place to lose yourself either walking the ramparts of Norwich Castle or the RAF Air Defence Radar Museum. The city has an exceptional array of shops, cafes and restaurants to enjoy. Well connected to the national rail and road network, Norfolk is easily accessible from London, the M25 and from major city terminals.

Norfolk is characterised by its horizons and big skies, straight highways and rural trappings. Also, when it comes to attractions, visitors to the county will be spoilt for choice. If you love animals and birds, head to RSPB Titchwell Marsh, or the Cley-Next-The-Sea. With such a long coastline Norfolk boasts some magnificent stretches of beach – favourites include Cromer, Old Hunstanton, Wells-Next-The Sea, the dunes of Winterton-on-Sea, and Brancaster (a favourite for dog owners).

There are so many places to visit and activities to get involved in on a Norfolk holiday. We have some lovely properties including country cottages, farm conversions, large family houses, apartments and surburban home from homes in our collection. Why not find your perfect holiday home today?
