Here you can swim, paddle or watch the seals flopping about on the sand, depending on the time of year. Sleeping four guests and a dog, this two-bedroom cottage benefits from a sunny front garden, plus a rear courtyard, where you can dine outside and enjoy the fresh sea air.

Wander in to find yourselves in an open-plan lounge/diner. Settle on the comfortable seating with your book, find a film on the Smart TV or discuss your exciting plans for the following day. Discover everything you need in the kitchen area to help you whip up tasty meals with the fresh Norfolk produce you have bought, then set the table inside or out. You also have a ground-floor WC and a handy washing machine and dishwasher, making your stay as easy as possible. Venture up to the first floor to a double bedroom and a twin, together with the family bathroom. Wander outside to soak up the glorious Norfolk sunshine and enjoy a moment or two with your morning coffee before heading off on the next adventure. You also have parking for two cars at the cottage.

From Winterton, head off to enjoy the beautiful beaches at Waxham, 7 miles away, and Sea Palling, 7.5 miles from the cottage. Our second visit to this lovely cottage and again it did not disappoint. Well equipped, clean and cosy. Back courtyard gets sun and we were able to eat outside a number of times. Well located for village amenities, the beach and great walks. Highly recommended.

What a fabulous cottage in a fantastic location! The cottage had everything we needed and a cafe, shop, fish and chip shop and pub practically on the doorstep was an added bonus - plus the beautiful beach is a short stroll away. There is so much to see in the surrounding area - a visit to the seals at Horsey Gap is a must. We were blessed with goodRead more weather so didnt get a chance to light the fire but Im sure it would have added to the cosiness of the cottage. We cant wait to go back! Hide

I had a wonderful stay at Home Cottage. The location is ideal close to beach and amenities. Short drives to other places of interest. The Cottage had everything you could need. It was very cold outside but the cottage was lovely and warm and cosy. I would definitely stay again.

A cosy, warm and well-fitted cottage with plenty of space for the 3 of us (including the dog). We have already booked this cottage again for May, to experience the (hopefully) warmer weather.

Super cosy and comfortable. Excellent location in the village. The porch is a real boon for drying off dogs and keeping mud/sand out of the cottage. Will certainly rebook .....looking forward to having breakfast in the patio area, wasn't really an option in December!

The cathedral gilded city of Norwich is a wonderful place to lose yourself either walking the ramparts of Norwich Castle or the RAF Air Defence Radar Museum. The city has an exceptional array of shops, cafes and restaurants to enjoy. Well connected to the national rail and road network, Norfolk is easily accessible from London, the M25 and from major city terminals.

Norfolk is characterised by its horizons and big skies, straight highways and rural trappings. Also, when it comes to attractions, visitors to the county will be spoilt for choice. If you love animals and birds, head to RSPB Titchwell Marsh, or the Cley-Next-The-Sea. With such a long coastline Norfolk boasts some magnificent stretches of beach – favourites include Cromer, Old Hunstanton, Wells-Next-The Sea, the dunes of Winterton-on-Sea, and Brancaster (a favourite for dog owners).
