Jesters Barn is a charming converted former coach house, set in pretty gardens in the quiet village of South Creake. The barn is built in traditional brick and chalk with pan tiled roof and is in the grounds of the owner's house. With a large enclosed garden and opportunities to dine alfresco, rest and relaxation is guaranteed in this quaint property. With a large open plan living area, Aga and wood-burning fireplace set in sympathetically decorated rooms, the charming farmhouse feel of the property is sure to draw guests in and with room for six, it's a great family getaway.

This house is also home to an owls' nest in the grounds ideal for watching them hunting and calling at night. The barn is within walking distance of the village pub which is popular with locals and holiday-makers alike. The Jolly Farmers in nearby North Creake (just over a mile) is the place to go for a great meal.

The beautiful coast is just 6 miles away and within 10 minutes drive each way you have a choice of either the bustling market town of Fakenham (6.5 miles) or the chic village of Burnham Market (4 miles. All in all, this is a cottage in a perfect quiet and peaceful location for exploring the area.

Beautiful in so many ways - located in an idyllic village, enjoyed eating breakfast in the lush garden, to the sound of the babbling brook. Ease of access to coastal areas. Well equipped accommodation. A playful labrador who found its match with our dog!

We stayed at jesters barn for 3 nights with our dog . I Can honestly say it was perfect . The grounds are gorgeous and self contained so our dog could wander around without any problems . The cottage is lovely well equipped and cosy just what you need after a long walking day .. a glass of wine in front of a gorgeous log fire . The cottage was comfortable and had everything we needed. Close to plenty of places Holt and Sheringham was a lovely visit. Wells isn't far away for a nice beach walk. We would definitely go back for another stay at Jesters Barn.

A well equipped, cosy, comfortable cottage set in beautiful enclosed grounds with a river running through. It was 15 minutes from the N. Norfolk coast and gorgeous beaches. The dogs loved it. Will be back!

We all had a great stay. it was so peaceful and the dogs loved the garden and stream. The cottage was very comfortable and the added bonus of the Aga which made delicious jacket potatoes and the real fire. made the cottage even more cosy. The beds were comfortable and clean. A lovely barn conversion conveniently set in the grounds of the owners property behind an electric gate. Very tranquil and secluded. Jesters Barn is in a quiet location but within walking distance of the local pub in South Creake. It's not far from Wells and the coast and has everything needed for a holiday (or in our case a short break). It's dog friendly too. The open fire was nice given that it's autumn and overall we had a great stay.

The cottage is absolutely incredible - we have all had a lovely family holiday! The location is perfect for visiting local attractions and is so peaceful. We loved the garden and its nice and secure for dogs. The cottage itself is quite quirky but that adds to the appeal. A cosy hideaway in a secluded and peaceful location with a stunning garden. Great for families, but worth noting the main bedroom (double) is on an open plan mezzanine, so fairly communal. The small twin room downstairs is perfect for kids, but the beds seem small and soft. The Arga is ace! Great value for money and lovely hosts!

Can not recommend jesters barn enough, We had an absolute lovely stay over Easter. The cottage is very well equipped the focal points being the open fire, the aga and the beautiful gardens and river that surround it. We stayed over New Year for three nights. My son enjoyed photographing the wildlife and we enjoyed the peaceful setting. The cottage has everything you could possibly need included. The location is ideal for a base to beaches and dog walks. For a simple get away to reset and relax we couldnt ask for more.

2 adults, 1 teenager & 2 dogs. Perfect. So cosy & homely. Every thing you would need. Teenager loved her 'own space' in the room at the top of the spiral staircase. Beds so comfortable. The dogs settled really well. Jaspers Barn is a good location for visiting the Norfolk coast. Just two of us staying it was very comfortable. Good local walks too.

Lovely cottage with its own garden. Very private despite being in owner's grounds. Great location to explore coast and all North Norfolk has to offer. NB. If you go to bed earlier than your partner you will get all the light/noise on the mezzanine level - earplugs recommended!

Very cosy cottage with a lovely fire for sitting in front of after a day walking the dog on the beach. The cottage is particularly well-appointed for a dog, well-placed for the North Norfolk beaches and had a great local pub in walking distance . We had a really lovely stay - as did the dog!

Absolutely wonderful for our 2nd return visit! A clean, tidy, warm, cosy cottage within the most spectacular, peacefully green environment with stunning gardens, and especially perfect being able to use Barry & Sheilas beautiful extended private garden too, which adjoined our already lovely Jesters Barn garden. Great for dogs and children and very relaxing. Location is quite rural and some way from sea and shops but we went all around North Norfolk coast from there. The garden is a wild delight and the stream was a lovely feature. Many birds to watch, sadly only saw the resident owl once when it flew into the bedroom window glass! On the plus side, it is well stocked with almost anything that could be required, but on the down side there are steps up to the toilet. People were ever so friendly, and it is my hope, that we will be able to stay at this property again very soon.

Jesters Barn was a delightful cottage in a quiet location. The availability of the lovely enclosed garden was a real asset to allow the dog to roam safely. The welcome bottle of wine was much appreciated. The cottage is well situated for visiting the wonderful beaches of North Norfolk.
