A traditional fisherman's cottage, offering beautifully maintained period accommodation for six guests located in the attractive harbour town of Wells-next-the-Sea on Norfolk's north coast.

With lovely views out to sea from a quirky ‘Look Out’ room overlooking the rooftops below, this traditional fisherman’s cottage has a true coastal feel. Located at the eastern end of Wells with private seafront parking and lawned garden and courtyard, the house has been tastefully furnished, offering four bedrooms, two bathrooms and a handy boot room for muddy wellies and coats. A shaker-style kitchen and large elegant dining room are the perfect place to come together to eat, and a sitting room with roaring log fire offers a relaxing night in on cold winter evenings.

This quaint part of Wells is within an easy stroll of all the traditional and contemporary shops of the town, as well as the seasonal narrow-gauge railway that takes you right to the beach. If you prefer a walk, stroll through the shady pinewoods behind the sands that lead out to a row of colourful beach huts on the beach. You may even see seals lazing about in the sun if you are lucky!

With many scenic walks from the area including the Holkham National Nature Reserve (2 miles) and RSPB Titchwell Marsh (12 miles), you will not be stuck for opportunities to spot some magnificent wildlife. If you prefer to sunbathe or swim, a golden stretch of sand goes right along the coast to the seaside resorts of Sheringham (18 miles) as well as Cromer (24 miles), which has a pier and lots of fun attractions to really give you that holiday feeling.

Dogs are charged at £20 each per full or part week.

We had a lovely time. We loved the quirkiness of the cottage, the open fire, location and it was very well equipped. A great place to stay.
