Escape to Stibbard in the heart of the Norfolk countryside and enjoy the serenity of this exquisite barn conversion, 4 miles from Fakenham. Sleeping four guests, and also welcoming two happy holiday hounds, this two-bedroom property is in a perfect position for reaching the north Norfolk coast, visiting stately homes and family attractions and even planning a day out to Norwich.

Step inside the single-storey barn to discover an open-plan lounge/kitchen/diner, with a vaulted ceiling and New England-style appeal. Relax in here after days out in the countryside or at the beach; light the wood burner to add to the cosy ambience and find your favourite programme on the Smart TV. Wander over to the kitchen area to prepare dinner or to make a cup of fresh coffee with the machine. Pull a chair up to the table to dine together or to chat about your plans for tomorrow. As the day draws to a close, make your way into either the king-size or the double bedroom, each with a set of doors on to the garden. Find the family bathroom has an elegant, clawfoot bath, as well as a walk-in shower and WC. Fire up the BBQ on balmy evenings and dine outside in the sunshine of the courtyard. There is off-road parking for two cars with the barn.

Plan trips out to see the birds and other animals at Pensthorpe Wildlife Park, 2.5 miles away, and to the seaside at Wells-next-the-Sea, 13.5 miles away. Here you can spend time on the wide, sandy beach, swim in the sea and catch the light railway to Walsingham. Drive 21 miles into vibrant Norwich to wander its cobbled streets and lanes, dine out in its many cafes and restaurants and visit historic locations, such as the castle, cathedral, and several museums.

Beautiful barn in a wonderful location. Great hosts, Lisa was very welcoming and thoughtful. A beautiful welcome pack was waiting for us full of Easter goodies as well as milk in the fridge and freshly laid eggs. Lovely touch. We will definitely be back.

This Barn is beautiful and spotless. Tastefully decorated and a lot of thought has gone into its design and furnishings. Fully equipped for all your needs. The Owner Lisa very helpful and friendly. Very accommodating for animals too. Will definitely be returning. Highly recommended.

The owner of the property came to welcome us and recommended a lovely dog friendly beach . We had cake and cava as a welcome gift's. A folder with some great recommendations of places to visit , dog friendly restaurants and beaches . The kings barn had everything we needed to live comfortably for our stay . A wonderful holiday let. Well equipped. Comfortable beds. Easy to find. Lisa was lovely - very helpful and friendly. Plenty to see and do in the area whatever the weather, though we were lucky and had a warm, sunny week. The cake and wine were much appreciated. Thank you for a great week.

Cottage is in a small, quiet village with easy access to main roads to all areas of Norfolk. Both humans and the dog were welcomed by the owners who were friendly and available without being intrusive. The cottage was very well equipped and the beds extremely comfortable, best sleep ever! The barn is amazing everything was perfect even down to our dogs needs. The Barn was perfect for visiting anything and everything the owners information booklet was the best we have had in any holiday cottage/hotel Would visit again

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Kings Barn, an ideal location just 10 minutes from Fakenham and 30 minutes or so from the best beaches and natural attractions. The decor is tastefully composed with quirky splashes of colour and the general layout functions exceptionally well. The kitchen is well equipped for self-catering with a separate fridge aRead morend freezer. All in all, very well thought out and in our opinion there was nothing lacking. Lovely stay in accommodation that has been lovingly equipped and finished. Great for dogs and ideal for my wife who had reduced mobility due to a broken foot. Hard to fault to be honest.

Suitable location for coast, really nicely decorated and furnished, well equipped cottage, nice and warm, big bathroom [ wait patiently for hot water but loads of it when it comes]. Outside area very secure and great for dogs with outside tap to clean off muddy pet and boots. Lots of extras provided for dog and humans. Excellent accommodation inside and out. Strongly recommend. Friendly owners, willing to help if needed but allowed total privacy. Very comfortable and well equipped both in the cottage and the outside dining/relaxing area.

Really lovely cottage with a secluded and secure garden for dogs. The location is great to get to the coast and surrounding pretty villages. Lisa and family were very welcoming and left some yummy goodies for us and our dogs too which were much appriciated. Would highly recommend and we hope to be back soon.

Kings Barn is a beautiful place to stay. It is in a quiet village but the coast, Norwich and other places well worth a visit are easily accessible. The cottage itself is extremely welcoming and comfortable. It is equipped with everything you could need and there were some lovely welcoming gifts for both humans and dogs. We were greeted by Lisa who Read moreadvised on places to visit with the dog but we were then left alone but reassured we could call on them if necessary. Will return! Hide

What a lovely place! A barn which has been lovingly restored & well equipped with everything you could need for a break away, located in a lovely quiet village quite central to towns & the coast. Even the dog was catered for with treats. We saw the owner briefly on our first day but other than that youre left alone to relax & focus on the break.

What a hidden gem! This beautiful barn conversion is perfect, everything we expected and more. 10 minute drive to the supermarkets etc, 2 min drive to the local pub/thai restaurant. A real basic, traditional local pub and the food from the restaurant was delicious. The barn is beautifully presented with everything you might need. Had a lovely bbq iRead moren the courtyard. The barn was delightful, very tastefully decorated and equipped. It was in a great position for exploring the coast. Lovely walks around the quiet lanes, and so very peaceful. Got to hear and see the local owl too. The owner introduced himself when we arrived but didn't see him again, but was there if we needed anything, which we didn't.
