There is plenty of space to relax in this light and airy bungalow, not only in the welcoming lounge/diner but also in the sunny conservatory which looks out over the garden and is accessed from the double bedroom. The 2nd bedroom, meanwhile, is a peaceful single room ideal for a younger guest. The enclosed garden to the rear of the cottage not only has a lawn but also a relaxing decked seating area.

Situated in Heacham on Norfolk’s west coast, Lavender Bungalow enjoys a convenient location less than a mile from the village’s convenience stores and pubs. To the east of the cottage, just 0.3 miles away, Norfolk Lavender is a relaxing spot offering tours of the lavender fields in the summer and a tea room, gift shop, and children’s play area throughout the year. The village beach, a sheltered spot with shallow waters, is located 1.5 miles from the cottage, a pleasant walk away.

Heacham is an ideal base for enjoying both days at the seaside in Hunstanton, 2.5 miles to the north and pleasant afternoons spent wandering the vibrant town centre and historic waterfront at Kings Lynn. For a really quite wonderful day trip, the beautiful Sandringham estate offers a fascinating insight into royal life.

This was the BEST holiday let we have stayed in for comfort and cleanliness. You can tell that the owners care about the experience of their guests as a lot of thought has gone into it. The bungalow is cosy and ideal for us and our two dogs. This is the second time we have stayed here and we were not disappointed. The secure garden is a real bonus and we even managed to sit outside one afternoon sun in February!

In a quiet location. Well equipped. In the area are three pubs, we visited two and the food at both were good quality at reasonable prices. There were four adults, one dog and a baby and it was a bit cramped. Having the conservatory was a bonus as we could all spread out a bit but then we werent all together at times also you had to walk through thRead moree double bedroom to get to the conservatory or if baby was sleeping we had to be a bit careful. Very comfy cottage, felt like I was at home it was so relaxing. The beach is a little further than I thought which was only a problem for our young boy if we walked. Conservatory and Garden were lovely. A TV in three rooms was also quite nice as our son hogs the TV. We spent most of the time in Hunstanton due to choice of pubs and entertainment forRead more our boy. Lavender Bungalow was in an ideal location with lots around to do within walking distance . To drive to many beaches it only took between 5 minutes and 25 minutes to a beautiful location and all dog friendly . The Bungalow was clean comfortable and ample room x pretty garden lovely conservatory and bedroom. Bathroom was perfect great shower . Had a lovely week at lavender cottage. Presentation was first class and lovely and clean. Loved the conservatory and garden. Coco has left a buried bone for next doggy visitor we had our own portable bbq so the outside table and chairs came in very handy. Would recommend the bungalow

Great find, lovely bungalow equipped with everything you could possibly want .Nice surprise in the kitchen thank you. Clean and comfortable, conservatory was lovely to sit during the warm evenings. Fully enclosed rear garden, our dogs checked it out for an escape route to no avail. We will book again next year.

Lovely bungalow with everything you need for a relaxing holiday in a quiet residential area with easy access to shops and pubs in Heacham and the coastal area. The spacious and enclosed rear garden was ideal for us with our cocker spaniel dog. One of the most comfortable places we have stayed and we will return again.

The bungalow was very homely but the lounge was not very comfortable. The area was very peaceful. Could only fit 1 average size car on the driveway as wasn't allowed to park beyond the gates. Probably wouldn't go back

We absolutely loved the property. It totally afforded us the relaxing and enjoyable break that we had so been looking forward to. We have already made recommendations to friends about the property and also holiday cottages, who we will be using again.

The property is looking very tired and needs updating in many respects. It was not one of the best cottages we have stayed at and for the price charged not the best value for money.
