Very welcoming and accessible. The cottage owner popped by to make sure all was okay - I loved the little gift box including dog treats. It was lovely to see the sheep in the nearby paddock. The kitchen had all the necessities, and it was all very clean and comfortable. The fire burning stove wasnt working at the time but the lovely lady informed mRead moree when I arrived and to be honest I wouldnt have trusted myself on my own to use it! Will definitely be using again. Lovely walks nearby! Thank you Hide

Really peaceful cottage with a lovely garden and summerhouse area to enjoy and the pet sheep for company in the paddock. Karen is a lovely host (assisted by Max and Zac) and added to the enjoyment of our stay.

Enjoyed our stay in calm and tranquil surroundings during a half term break to visit our grandchildren nearby. The cottage was very clean and well equipped. Fine for two people and a dog. The Herdwick sheep were a bonus, and added to the environment.

A lovely cottage, very clean. Perfect for a couple or single occupant. A welcome basket was provided on arrival which was unexpected - it even included dog biscuits! We took our dog who loved the garden. The garden is a good size and is shared with 2 other cottages but no one was staying in them when we were there so had the garden to ourselves. WeRead more didn't explore much of the immediate area so can't comment but the location is a short drive to most areas and so we felt it was ideally located. Hide
