Lilac Cottage is a pretty, red brick terrace cottage at the centre of Snettisham village in Norfolk. This attractive holiday home is a cosy retreat sleeping up to four guests. It is a superb choice for couples and young families that love the west coast of Norfolk.

The cottage has been tastefully decorated with a light touch throughout. Guests will appreciate the fully-equipped kitchen the with its stable door into the garden with a sunny gravelled area to the rear. The cottage also retains many characterful features including the original oven and an open fire in the main bedroom. You can also curl up in front of the woodburner in the sitting room on chillier evenings to enjoy a movie or read a book.

The cottage is less than 1 mile from the Co-op store, and the excellent Rose & Crown pub - you should definitely try the Old Bank Bistro. The cottage is warm & cosy, it never felt cold when you walked in even though the heating had not been on. The wood burner in the lounge is brilliant on cold evenings. The rear garden is a lovely sun trap. The pictures on the website are a true reflection of the cottage , so if you like what you see that is what you get.

Lilac Cottage is a charming holiday cottage, in a quiet and picturesque lane in Snettisham. After I had contacted the owners Rob and Jane about a minor problem with the fridge, they appeared in 20 minutes and fixed it there and then. I can't ask for more than that. Highly recommended.

Perfectly located for local walks, drives to nearby attractions. Good spot for deer park, Ken Hill, RSPB, beaches and nearby seaside towns. The cottage has everything you might need for any season, is thoughtfully decorated and daily needs have been considered. The owners were very helpful and friendly when we needed them.
