Spacious both inside and out, this handsome farmhouse has plenty of space for eight guests to enjoy a relaxed holiday with family or friends. Two of the bedrooms are on the ground floor, as is a shower room, making it a great choice for guests who may struggle with stairs. The main lounge is an impressive room with a vaulted beamed ceiling and exposed stone walls, and there is also a separate games room with its own TV/DVD and Nintendo Wii games console.

For a small village, Stoke Holy Cross is surprisingly well-appointed with two well-regarded fine dining restaurants situated within 0.5 miles of the property’s front door. The post office and village shop are also under half a mile away, whilst the golf course at Dunston Hall is situated just 1.5 miles away.

To the north of this property, just 6 miles away, Norwich is fantastic for both enjoying a shopping trip, or for an interesting day spent visiting the town’s twelve historic sites, including the Norman castle and 11th century cathedral. 25 miles to the east, the seaside town of Great Yarmouth boasts a sandy beach with waterfront amusements, a Sea Life centre, and a good range of shops and cafes.

Dogs are charged at £20 each per full or part week.

Lovely comfortable cottage with fantastic views over open countryside. Cottage was cosy and warm with good quality appliances. Beds really comfortable. Plenty of parking available which was great for our family gathering. Loved the bedroom separation so that no one was on top of each other.

We stayed at lime kiln and it was lovely. The house was extremely cosy and the owners had obviously thought carefully about the guests that stay eg providing plenty of activities for children which really made a difference. It was lovely relaxing by the log fire in the evening. Definitely recommend

What a wonderful stay! The cottage was so well equipped and there was so much space. The children loved the huge garden and all the garden toys, as well as all the toys in the house. It was a perfect week that I can not fault. Well be visiting again!

The property is a spacious barn conversion in a lovely village just outside Norwich. We chose it because we needed somewhere suitable for elderly parents, one of whom is visually impaired. We all loved the property, especially the garden which is a treat if you like wildlife - owls, muntjac deer, squirrels, butterflies and even grass snakes! AmazinRead moreg. Hide

The most northerly county in the East of England, Norfolk is a land of beautiful contrasts. From the swooning reed beds and endless maze of waterways in the Norfolk Broads; the unspoilt stretches of fens and shingle spits where bird and wildlife thrive; a famous royal palace and the historic cathedral city of Norwich, this enticing area of England is just waiting to be discovered. Visit Sandringham Palace and see where the Queen lives or find out where lavender grows; you could journey to one of the largest seal haul outs in Europe at Blakeney Point or have a traditional day at the seaside at Cromer and Great Yarmouth. The cathedral gilded city of Norwich is a wonderful place to lose yourself either walking the ramparts of Norwich Castle or the RAF Air Defence Radar Museum. The city has an exceptional array of shops, cafes and restaurants to enjoy. Well connected to the national rail and road network, Norfolk is easily accessible from London, the M25 and from major city terminals.

Norfolk is characterised by its horizons and big skies, straight highways and rural trappings. Also, when it comes to attractions, visitors to the county will be spoilt for choice. If you love animals and birds, head to RSPB Titchwell Marsh, or the Cley-Next-The-Sea. With such a long coastline Norfolk boasts some magnificent stretches of beach – favourites include Cromer, Old Hunstanton, Wells-Next-The Sea, the dunes of Winterton-on-Sea, and Brancaster (a favourite for dog owners).

There are so many places to visit and activities to get involved in on a Norfolk holiday. We have some lovely properties including country cottages, farm conversions, large family houses, apartments and surburban home from homes in our collection. Why not find your perfect holiday home today?
