Lower Farm is an impressive, rambling Georgian house in the quiet, rural village of Great Snoring. It is situated in an elevated position at the edge of the green and boasts original features from the Georgian, Victorian and Edwardian eras. With room for 14 guests, plus a very small one, it is ideal for a large family get-together, with extensive gardens, (featuring a beautiful copper beech tree) which are themselves an adventure waiting to happen for children. The space within the individual rooms is also notable and it's a family place in which adults and children can relax together without feeling they are in a smart, formal show home. The bedroom configuration offers a range of options – but be aware one room sleeps five – perfect for a midnight feast?!

Lower Farm is 2 miles from Little Walsingham which has a well-known farmshop, restaurants and pubs – so make sure you get your essentials on the way home.

8 miles away you'll find Wells-next-the-Sea and the coast – an ideal spot to explore, run around and let off steam. 11 miles distant is the attractive Georgian town of Holt with its many independent shops and restaurants. Hire bicycles and enjoy the many cycling routes around the surrounding country lanes.

Dogs are charged at £20 each per full or part week.

What a gem! So much space, so much character, set up as a home from home. Ten adults and four kids plus dogs didn't get under each others' feet at all. We've named it the hide-and-seek house!

The property was great for our family getaway, lots of room to spread out with our 3 dogs. The kitchen was amazingly equipped as we made our meals every night for the 10 of us. The grounds were extensive and the property warm and cosy in a lovely area.

This is a beautiful house in which to spend some time with extended family. The rooms are large and comfortable and there is plenty of bathroom provision. Great for house gatherings of friends and family plenty of bath and toilet facilities and large commodious rooms : So much to see in N Norfolk too. Extremely well provided always a question of where things were rather than whether they were provided! Very friendly custodians. Enormous garden great for dogs.

The property is very spacious and easily accommodated our party of 15. The welcome bag was a nice touch. The house was very warm. When we had a small problem on arrival the local representative arrived to resolve it within minutes. The children loved the outdoor facilities. It was ideal for our family celebration and we would recommend it.

The city has an exceptional array of shops, cafes and restaurants to enjoy. Well connected to the national rail and road network, Norfolk is easily accessible from London, the M25 and from major city terminals.
