Local Area:

This area is packed with natural beauty and unique flora and fauna. Within a mile of the property, you will find the very special Scolt Head Island Nature Reserve. Limited access ensures its dunes, beaches and rare wildlife are often left in relative seclusion, so be sure to investigate which ferries are leaving from Burnham Overy Staithe during your stay and take a picnic to your own ‘mini paradise’. If you want to appreciate the coastline further, join the Norfolk Coast Path which passes very close to the property and travels from Holme-Next-the-Sea (6.5 miles) in the west to the popular crabbing town of Cromer (30 miles). The area is also packed with gorgeous towns with a range of independent shops and eateries, such as Wells-next-the-Sea (8 miles) and Blakeney (16 miles), which also provides access to Blakeney Nature Reserve which hosts migratory birds and its own seal colony.

This is very comfortable accommodation in an ideal location alongside the coastal path. All bedrooms are a reasonable size, the kitchen is well-equipped, and there is space to spread out (living room, dining room, conservatory and garden). It has a small supermarket nearby, which is very handy.

Very well located property with great views of the Marshes. Great location to explore the area with good shops, cafe and petrol station at the top of the road, we loved the pop up shops. Great base for running and bird watching. Property was very well equipped, lots of space to relax. Would recommend and would certainly look to visit again

Cottage was comfortable, well equipped and clean, although it was looking a little tired in places. The location was good with access to the coastal path just a short walk from the house. There is a cafe, local shop and pub all within a couple of mins walk.

Fabulous location, quiet but close to excellent well-stocked village store. Spacious house, but needs some attention to detail to make it even better. Comfy beds, lovely garden. Plenty to do in area. Good base for a holiday.

The cottage exceeded all of our expectations. A clean, very spacious and well located place that suited all our requirements. It is somewhere that I would be happy to live. If you like eating out you can start with breakfast at The Deepdale Caf, a 2 minute walk from the property. There are a couple of pubs within walking distance but their prices aRead morere a little on the high side I would highly recommend this property, there is plenty of room for 8 people. Hide

The most northerly county in the East of England, Norfolk is a land of beautiful contrasts. The cathedral gilded city of Norwich is a wonderful place to lose yourself either walking the ramparts of Norwich Castle or the RAF Air Defence Radar Museum. The city has an exceptional array of shops, cafes and restaurants to enjoy. Well connected to the national rail and road network, Norfolk is easily accessible from London, the M25 and from major city terminals.
