An excellent choice for those looking for a relaxing seaside holiday on the Norfolk coast, situated in a village boasting a sandy beach as well as a good range of shops, pubs, and cafes.

This beautiful home is in the village of Heacham on the outskirts of the Norfolk Coast AONB; it is the perfect place for families to relax and enjoy the local area. With a contemporary country-style, this house is elegant, yet comfortable, and feels spacious throughout. The well-equipped kitchen/diner has double doors leading out to the enclosed garden, which makes a lovely setting for al fresco dining. The lounge’s wood burner- effect fire makes the spacious lounge feel cosy. The stairs lead up to the beautiful bedrooms and the Jack and Jill style bathroom.

The village itself is a Victorian seaside resort with its long sandy beach on the banks of The Wash. There are a range of shops/eateries and attractions, such as Norfolk Lavender, within Heacham, or 2.5 miles north is another seaside town of Hunstanton with a Sealife Sanctuary, home of the only Seal Rescue centre open to the public.

Venturing further afield, you could visit the seaport and market town of King’s Lynn with its mix of maritime history, shopping and entertainment. There are also a number of nature reserves within the Norfolk Coast AONB offering ample opportunities to explore the flora and fauna of the area.

Dogs are charged at £20 each per full or part week.

We stayed here as a 'bubble' of 4 adults, with a 7 month old baby and a dog. The cottage was pristine, and spacious enough for all of us. It was incredibly comfortable. Beds/sofa/chairs all comfy and stylish! Perfectly located for walks to Heacham seafront, and easy driving to Wells, Brancaster etc. Village is lovely, Tesco a two minute walk away, Read morelavender farm 15 mins walk. Wonderful little touches at the cottage, even down to the toy mouse in the fireplace. Would definitely return again! Hide

Whats not to love about Norfolk Cottage ? Cosy, spotlessly clean, very well equipped kitchen with top end appliances, comfy beds and conveniently located to explore the Norfolk coast. We loved our week here, despite the weather, and will certainly be back.

A lovely seaside cottage. Cosy and welcoming. The owners have really thought about what you might need during a week away, paying real attention to the small details. What a fantastic cottage. Everything you could possibly want catered for. The best quality bedding an towels a very welcome change to some cottages. The cottage has everything you could wish for and the welcome pack was a lovely addition. A very secure garden which was ideal for our dog and had a nice table and chairs for better weather. A very clean and comfortable holiday cottage. Eco friendly cleaning products and hand wash were available. Great enclosed courtyard that is safe for dogs to be let out for first and last wee. Cottage is well situated, about a mile to the beach and close to a shop for provisions. The area felt safe and friendly and was really quiet at nighttime. GooRead mored communication with owner who was really helpful. Plenty of places to eat and our favourites were in Old Hunstanton and Thornham. It was perfect. Hide

exceptionally clean modern with all the touches you would find in a holiday cottage .the facilities were second to none and the owner is a credit to youre orginisation so much so that we booked the day after we got home booked the same cottage for the same week next year

Excellent cottage! Immaculately presented throughout. Fantastically equipped. Great location with pub , Chinese, chip shop and Tesco express all within a couple of mins walk. Great base to explore the local area. Private car park at rear of property. When we arrived we were greeted with a bottle of wine and even a treat for the dog! Really can not Read morerecommend highly enough. The owner was also very accommodating when we had to change our travel plans at the last minuete. Hide

This is a well presented and decorated and equipped to a high standard you would not be disappointed if you book this cottage, we stayed over Christmas and the owner even decorated it for the holiday period. Cant fault this cottage at all.

Beautiful cottage, very well equipped with everything you could possibly need for a break on the North West Norfolk coast. Designated off street parking was a bonus. Some good beaches within a short walk and some great ones within a short drive. Would definitely recommend.

Lovely convenient location for local shops and beach. We did not need to use our car once throughout our stay! Found a fab Pub, The West Norfolk, 15 minute walk away for a great lunch (or two!!!). The best self catering holiday we have had in over 30 years! The cottage was so cozy and comfortable in Heacham a stones throw from Hunstanton surrounded by beautiful beaches to suit everyone's taste. Norfolk is the jewel in the crown!

Wonderful cottage. Lots of little touches like dog treats, bowl and even poo bags you may have forgotten. Fantastic location for beach and local Tesco and chippy. Comfy beds, Wifi was good. Smart TV in lounge would have been nice but lots of DVDs, since the weather was sadly a bit (well, a lot) wet! The Fox and Hounds is about a quarter of a mile away and is dog friendly with good food, very friendly staff and extremely nice bunch of locals.
