Snettisham is a lovely rural village located between King’s Lynn and Hunstanton near the coast. A range of shops and eateries can be found in the centre of the village and 3 miles from the closest beach in Heacham. Go for an early morning walk on the sand before dropping by the famous Lavender Tea Rooms for afternoon tea. Explore the coast further, even stopping by Hunstanton (5 miles) where you can see colourful fish at the Sea Life Sanctuary before returning to Snettisham for a delicious pub dinner.

The architectural delight of King’s Lynn is 13 miles away, located on the edge of The Wash, while the RSPB-managed Titchwell Marsh is 10 miles away and makes a stunning section for the coast to walk and birdwatch. Join the walker’s Norfolk Coast Path or cyclist’s Norfolk Cost Cycleway at Hunstanton for a fantastic excursion along the border of this stunning county.

Head to the sandy beach of Old Hunstanton (6 miles) for sunbathing and paddling, whilst Holkham Beach (17.5 miles) is so vast it’s like you have the place completely to yourself. Explore the parkland at Sandringham Estate (4 miles) and discover chalk grasslands at Ringstead Downs (4.5 miles). The maritime town of King’s Lynn (14 miles) has a wealth of restaurants, shops and pubs, whilst thrill-seekers will love NorthShore SUP & Surf (12 miles) and Hunstanton Watersports (5 miles). Find a high ropes course, assault courses and quad biking at ExTREEme Adventure (16 miles) or, for a quieter time, head to Paint me Ceramics (5 miles) for some pottery painting.

Wonderful farmhouse in the most idyllic location. Glorious garden which enjoys incredible sunsets. Great fun cooking on the aga, plenty of room to spread out. Would readily book again.
