Old Times is full of character and also has all the necessary modern conveniences. The children loved the bunk beds. The caravan was great extra accomodation giving us the opportunity to spread out when needed. Best of all is the location. Sitting just behind the dunes its a few steps to the beach. Beautiful decor, very well-equipped. We so enjoyed the beach location and having three verandas to sit on and enjoy. At least one was partially shaded or in full sun the whole day. Everything you could need for either simple or complex meal preparation and enough glassware to enjoy whatever you were drinking. The seating was varied so everyone got Read moreto sit where they were most comfortable, too. Beds very comfy also. Hide

Perfect location for children - right next to the beach. When the tide was out the sea was barely visible but nevertheless the children loved playing on the beach. And glorious views of the sunset every evening from the veranda.

Great house in an amazing location. Sunsets are unreal! The house had everything we could need however it was very hot during the recent heatwave given it being a wooden structure....we did bring fans from home though which made it bearable. Had we not had the fans I think we may have been a little less happy, the front bedroom was 31C in the eveniRead morengs! But otherwise it was perfect and the owners have thought of everything. Would have been nice to have towels and a bath mat to save us bringing our own as this property does not provide towels. Think it would be very cold there in winter as no heating...but for a summer break its ideal. Hide

Well equipped kitchen, peaceful location along a bumpy (but can drive it) road, saw a small owl both nights soaring for food, the bunks are all children sized (also comfy for a short adult), comfy living arrangements.

We had a very enjoyable stay. I was born in Norwich but was not familiar with that part of Norfolk and loved the beach right outside the door. The house was lovely and I particularly liked the fact that our neighbouring properties weren't as close as some I've seen. I want to live here and so does my dog.

The most northerly county in the East of England, Norfolk is a land of beautiful contrasts. From the swooning reed beds and endless maze of waterways in the Norfolk Broads; the unspoilt stretches of fens and shingle spits where bird and wildlife thrive; a famous royal palace and the historic cathedral city of Norwich, this enticing area of England is just waiting to be discovered. Visit Sandringham Palace and see where the Queen lives or find out where lavender grows; you could journey to one of the largest seal haul outs in Europe at Blakeney Point or have a traditional day at the seaside at Cromer and Great Yarmouth. The cathedral gilded city of Norwich is a wonderful place to lose yourself either walking the ramparts of Norwich Castle or the RAF Air Defence Radar Museum. The city has an exceptional array of shops, cafes and restaurants to enjoy. Well connected to the national rail and road network, Norfolk is easily accessible from London, the M25 and from major city terminals.

Norfolk is characterised by its horizons and big skies, straight highways and rural trappings. Also, when it comes to attractions, visitors to the county will be spoilt for choice. If you love animals and birds, head to RSPB Titchwell Marsh, or the Cley-Next-The-Sea. With such a long coastline Norfolk boasts some magnificent stretches of beach – favourites include Cromer, Old Hunstanton, Wells-Next-The Sea, the dunes of Winterton-on-Sea, and Brancaster (a favourite for dog owners).

There are so many places to visit and activities to get involved in on a Norfolk holiday. We have some lovely properties including country cottages, farm conversions, large family houses, apartments and surburban home from homes in our collection. Why not find your perfect holiday home today?
