A stylish and contemporary lodge offering single-storey accommodation with an open-plan living space and enclosed patio garden, located centrally in the market town of Holt.

Situated in the heart of the attractive Georgian town of Holt, this contemporary single-storey lodge is perfect for a family looking to explore one of Norfolk’s most enviable locations. Boasting oak flooring, underfloor heating, a warming wood burner and high-quality furnishings, the interiors are bright and spacious, particularly in the open-plan lounge/kitchen/diner where the floor-to-ceiling folding doors flood the room with natural light. Suppers can be enjoyed al fresco in the enclosed patio garden, before retiring to one of the two generously proportioned en-suite bedrooms.

From the doorstep of the lodge, guests can meander around Holt’s quaint, narrow streets, browsing an array of independent shops, galleries and antique shops and sampling local cuisine in one of the many pubs, tearooms and restaurants. To see the area from a different perspective, hop on one of the heritage steam trains at Holt Station and enjoy spectacular views along the North Norfolk Railway line. When you fancy a walk, Holt Country Park is 1 mile away with its woodland and colourful heathland to explore.

Beyond this charming town, Norfolk’s dramatic coastline is within easy driving distance with the sweeping unspoilt sands of Holkham located 15 miles to the west and the bustling seaside resort of Cromer, with its traditional pier and attractions 10 miles to the east.

Dogs are charged at £20 each per full or part week.

We enjoyed a lovely holiday and found Pippin's Lodge comfortable and really warm. The location is excellent. We would have appreciated more china and cutlery and were disappointed with a few lightbulbs being out but the Lodge has spacious bedrooms, comfortable beds and a relaxing sitting area. The courtyard garden is small but private and we apprecRead moreiated the property is only a stone's throw to the excellent shops, cafes etc. Hide

This cottage was very well located in the heart of Holt, a great base for a holiday in north Norfolk. A spacious cottage, well equipped and comfortable. The garden was secure for our two small dogs.

This is a very well equipped cottage and the location is unbeatable - both to the centre of Holt, which is almost lterally just outside the front door - but at the same time the wide paved patio is well screened, and with good access to the attractions in the area.

Not overly attractive exterior but extremely well designed and equipped interior in excellent peaceful location in town centre with totally private courtyard garden. Lovely underfloor heating, spacious bedrooms, all necessary kitchen equipment provided. Access to parking spaces via narrow drive might make turning difficult if taking 2 good-sized caRead morers (we managed ok with Astra and Corsa). Had a couple of problems with tv and dishwasher but possibly the result of time left unused over lockdown. Hide

Pippin Lodge is tucked away so lovely and quiet, yet only a two minute walk into the gorgeous town of Holt. Modern and open plan inside makes the cottage very social and having two en suite bathrooms was great.

The city has an exceptional array of shops, cafes and restaurants to enjoy. Well connected to the national rail and road network, Norfolk is easily accessible from London, the M25 and from major city terminals.
