Situated in the heart of the attractive Georgian town of Holt, this contemporary single-storey lodge is perfect for a family looking to explore one of Norfolk’s most enviable locations. Boasting oak flooring, underfloor heating, a warming wood burner and high-quality furnishings, the interiors are bright and spacious, particularly in the open-plan lounge/kitchen/diner where the floor-to-ceiling folding doors flood the room with natural light. Suppers can be enjoyed al fresco in the enclosed patio garden, before retiring to one of the two generously proportioned en-suite bedrooms.

From the doorstep of the lodge, guests can meander around Holt’s quaint, narrow streets, browsing an array of independent shops, galleries and antique shops and sampling local cuisine in one of the many pubs, tearooms and restaurants. To see the area from a different perspective, hop on one of the heritage steam trains at Holt Station and enjoy spectacular views along the North Norfolk Railway line. When you fancy a walk, Holt Country Park is 1 mile away with its woodland and colourful heathland to explore.

Beyond this charming town, Norfolk’s dramatic coastline is within easy driving distance with the sweeping unspoilt sands of Holkham located 15 miles to the west and the bustling seaside resort of Cromer, with its traditional pier and attractions 10 miles to the east.
