Situated on a quiet street in the popular Georgian town of Holt, this cottage is near the centre of town where there are delightful independent shops, cafes and restaurants. This traditional cottage has been refurbished and maintained to a high standard and makes an ideal base for a couple or small family, especially with its two bathrooms. Off road parking, an open-plan living area, and a pretty courtyard garden also add to the cottage's charm.

 

The North Norfolk Railway is down the road from this cottage so hop onboard and spend a day sightseeing along the spectacular coast. The gorgeous Sheringham Park is only 5 miles away so pack a picnic and head down to sit on the grass, walk the perimeter and see the delightfully designed gardens.

 

The closest stretch of beach is at Weybourne 6 miles away while the resort of Cromer famous for its pier, Amazona Zoo and delectable crabs is 8 miles. In the opposing direction, you'll find the Cley Marshes Reserve, an important heritage site for birdlife 8 miles from the cottage, while past that is Blakeney (12 miles) where you can take a boat trip across to Blakeley Point and spot seals.

Good for summer but poor in winter. Front bedroom was so very cold i wondered if it was haunted! bedding felt damp. Heavy condensation on window pooling on windowsill continually No extraction in ensuite. No power points near mirrors and very bad lighting throughout - could hardly see to read or use a mirror . A cosy and comfortable cottage in a quiet lane yet close to the centre of Holt. We would certainly consider returning.

Ideal location for visiting North Norfolk. Cottage also in walking distance of Holt for shops & restaurants. Cosy & lovely cottage downstairs but bedrooms ready for revamp.

We loved the cottage it was convenient and really comfortable with everything you would need. The garden was an added bonus as it was hot but the living area was nice and cool very welcome when we arrived. Holt is a lovely place nice people and great shops and cafes.

Great location, easy short walk to the shops and restaurants. Light curtain in the bedrooms let daylight in and woke us up early. Pleasent garden with seating area.

Generally, the cottage was well furnished & comfortable. Secluded garden and a pleasant, easy walk into town. The neighbourhood was quiet and felt safe. Holt is a delightful town with lots of interesting, independent shops and provide easy access to many Norfolk Beaches.

7 wonderful days spent in this cottage which is in an ideal spot for easy access to all the main attractions in North Norfolk. Holt is a great little town with all the amenities you will need. We even had a week of sun. Will definitely be back,

Cottage is warm, comfortable and well equipped. The stairs really are steep though and there is a street light directly outside which is bright at night. Quiet location very convenient for walking into the lovely town of Holt and as a base for visiting Norfolks many attractions.

The location was ideal, only a short walk into Holt where there was a good selection of restaurants, fifteen to twenty minute drive gave access to many more. The North Norfolk Railway was just 20min walk from the cottage, well worth a visit and a train ride into Sheringham. Delightful cottage. Tastefully furnished, with local art. Well equipped small kitchen. The additional shower room was very helpful when both bedrooms in use. Garden looked attractive for warmer months. Would definitely book again.

We really enjoyed our stay in Pear Tree Cottage, it is a special place due to the extra personal touches the owners had made and obviously give much thought, cleaver touches of interior design with good use of colour combinations, soft furnishings, pictures etc to help give it a home from home feeling. We found it clean well equiped and even had thRead moreings like cling film which is very rare in our experience. The location and parking worked well even with a large car, happy to stay here again. Lovely cottage with lots of character, well equipped, and the two en-suite bathrooms made a difference. Cottage is in a very quiet location yet only a 10/15 minute walk to the centre of Holt. We definitely stay in this property again.

Lovely quaint cottage. Ideal for Holt centre, 5 to 10 minutes walk. Garden was slightly overgrown but a gardener appeared on the Monday and trimmed back the shrubs. Was then lovely to sit out and enjoy the warm weather with a glass or 2 . Lots of nice little shops, cafes and Bistros in Holt.

A very nice cottage, comfortable and homely, Holt is a perfect location for visiting the North Norfolk coast as it is pretty central to the area.
