A charming cottage offering comfortable accommodation for a family of eight, or up to six adults, situated on a working farm in North Norfolk, just 1.5 miles from a glorious sandy beach.

A traditional cottage with a lovely large garden and views across a patchwork of fields. It has been designed with families in mind and includes a playful layout and a bunk bedroom for kids. With three bedrooms it will sleep six but there is a double-bed in the second sitting room. A conservatory enhances this very sunny and pleasant holiday home.

Only 3 miles from Brancaster on the beautiful Norfolk coastline where you'll find a host of sparkling beaches and birdlife reserves. Here you'll find Brancaster Staithe Harbour and Brancaster Beach with its own WW2 ship wreck. The great expanse of flat sand makes this excellent for flying kites, building sandcastles and paddling in shallow waters. There is usually something fun happening on the Brancaster Estate.

For a family day out, head 9 miles west to Hunstanton and wander the pier, visit the Sea Life Sanctuary, grab lunch at a cafe and get sandy toes with a stroll on the popular beach. Enjoy more family fun at Snettisham Park (10 miles) and the royal residence of Sandringham is past that (11 miles). If you travel east instead you'll find Wells-next-the-Sea (10 miles) and magnificent Holkham Hall (9 miles).

Dogs are charged at £20 each per full or part week.

We really enjoyed the peace and amenities of this cottage. It is properly away from everything so you need to be prepared to jump in the car but it was brilliant being a few minutes from the beach and village. We found it very clean and well-equipped with excellent broadband and WiFi. We enjoyed meals in the conservatory and outside in the garden; Read morethe enclosed outside space was fab with children. Plenty of kitchen kit, really appreciated having oil and salt etc. Everything worked! Hide

A beautiful and well equipped cottage situated near a working farm. Beautifully quiet with lots of wildlife nearby. Well positioned to enjoy the North Norfolk coast, but be aware that it is 2-3 miles away from nearest facilities (shops, pubs and restaurants). This wasnt an issue for us at all.

Its a lovely cottage near Brancaster and its fantastic beach. Facilities in the cottage are good and ot has all you will need. There were some hidden gems such as washing powder and dishwasher tabs already there. Very comfy and made a great break.

A fantastic place to stay. The extra sitting room a bonus. It is one of the few cottages that offer two bathrooms. Great if you have a dog, as there is a back door with garden and exit via the back door. Good on a wet day.

Lovely spacious cottage and very well equipped, quiet location although it is a working farm, we found it too far to walk to the village so needed the car to go to the pub or shops, all in all we had a lovely holiday though.

Enjoyed the holiday although the weather wasn't nice to us. Too far to main road no paths for pushchairs. More suited for dog walkers.

The most northerly county in the East of England, Norfolk is a land of beautiful contrasts. From the swooning reed beds and endless maze of waterways in the Norfolk Broads; the unspoilt stretches of fens and shingle spits where bird and wildlife thrive; a famous royal palace and the historic cathedral city of Norwich, this enticing area of England is just waiting to be discovered. Visit Sandringham Palace and see where the Queen lives or find out where lavender grows; you could journey to one of the largest seal haul outs in Europe at Blakeney Point or have a traditional day at the seaside at Cromer and Great Yarmouth. The cathedral gilded city of Norwich is a wonderful place to lose yourself either walking the ramparts of Norwich Castle or the RAF Air Defence Radar Museum. The city has an exceptional array of shops, cafes and restaurants to enjoy. Well connected to the national rail and road network, Norfolk is easily accessible from London, the M25 and from major city terminals.

Norfolk is characterised by its horizons and big skies, straight highways and rural trappings. Also, when it comes to attractions, visitors to the county will be spoilt for choice. If you love animals and birds, head to RSPB Titchwell Marsh, or the Cley-Next-The-Sea. With such a long coastline Norfolk boasts some magnificent stretches of beach – favourites include Cromer, Old Hunstanton, Wells-Next-The Sea, the dunes of Winterton-on-Sea, and Brancaster (a favourite for dog owners).
