Only 3 miles from Brancaster on the beautiful Norfolk coastline where you'll find a host of sparkling beaches and birdlife reserves. Here you'll find Brancaster Staithe Harbour and Brancaster Beach with its own WW2 ship wreck. The great expanse of flat sand makes this excellent for flying kites, building sandcastles and paddling in shallow waters. There is usually something fun happening on the Brancaster Estate.
For a family day out, head 9 miles west to Hunstanton and wander the pier, visit the Sea Life Sanctuary, grab lunch at a cafe and get sandy toes with a stroll on the popular beach. Enjoy more family fun at Snettisham Park (10 miles) and the royal residence of Sandringham is past that (11 miles). If you travel east instead you'll find Wells-next-the-Sea (10 miles) and magnificent Holkham Hall (9 miles).
