Lovely cottage and friendly owners. The garden is perfect for dog owners as it all enclosed and very secure. The location is perfect. Lovely to look out onto the duck pond and very easy access to everything in the area. Lots of places to eat out locally. Nice pub within walking distance but a bit pricey. The cottage is in a lovely spot right on the green in front of the pond. Very quiet although there is a road the other side of the pond you do not hear any traffic.

This is a very nice little cottage, very much of the Victorian period including in period furnishings. Good broadband and television available. There are plenty of utensils and cutlery, dishes and pots and pans. As the toilet and bathroom are downstairs people may be wise to ask about this if they are very elderly. Fabulous location, so pretty and perfect for travelling around from. The Duck Inn round the corner was very good and dog friendly, as was the pub in Docking, four miles away. Secure garden for smaller dogs, but possibly escapable if a bit bigger! Had a lovely few days, thank you.

The most northerly county in the East of England, Norfolk is a land of beautiful contrasts. From the swooning reed beds and endless maze of waterways in the Norfolk Broads; the unspoilt stretches of fens and shingle spits where bird and wildlife thrive; a famous royal palace and the historic cathedral city of Norwich, this enticing area of England is just waiting to be discovered. Visit Sandringham Palace and see where the Queen lives or find out where lavender grows; you could journey to one of the largest seal haul outs in Europe at Blakeney Point or have a traditional day at the seaside at Cromer and Great Yarmouth. The cathedral gilded city of Norwich is a wonderful place to lose yourself either walking the ramparts of Norwich Castle or the RAF Air Defence Radar Museum. The city has an exceptional array of shops, cafes and restaurants to enjoy. Well connected to the national rail and road network, Norfolk is easily accessible from London, the M25 and from major city terminals.

Norfolk is characterised by its horizons and big skies, straight highways and rural trappings. Also, when it comes to attractions, visitors to the county will be spoilt for choice. If you love animals and birds, head to RSPB Titchwell Marsh, or the Cley-Next-The-Sea. With such a long coastline Norfolk boasts some magnificent stretches of beach – favourites include Cromer, Old Hunstanton, Wells-Next-The Sea, the dunes of Winterton-on-Sea, and Brancaster (a favourite for dog owners).

There are so many places to visit and activities to get involved in on a Norfolk holiday. We have some lovely properties including country cottages, farm conversions, large family houses, apartments and surburban home from homes in our collection. Why not find your perfect holiday home today?
