Take a wander to the town’s harbour with its colourful fishing boats and delight in a scenic cruise to Blakeney Point and its colony of grey seals, or spend a day at the town’s sweeping beach, 1 mile away. Situated in an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, Wells-next-the-Sea provides endless opportunities for sightseeing, water sports, bird watching and country walks.

Slightly further afield is the renowned Wildlife Trust nature reserve at Cley-next-the-Sea (9 miles) where you can glimpse a plethora of birdlife, while Holkham Hall (2.5 miles) is known as one of Britain’s most majestic stately homes with a deer park nearby and Sandringham Estate (19 miles) providing 24 hectares of gardens to explore, as well as its beautiful house, museum and country park.

The most northerly county in the East of England, Norfolk is a land of beautiful contrasts.
