Set on the outskirts of a bustling and popular coastal town, this light and spacious holiday home is perfect for exploring the stunning coastline and beautiful countryside of this part of Norfolk.

Saltmarsh is a contemporary terraced house in Wells-next-the-Sea. Although modern, it retains the feel of the more traditional properties common to Wells. Spread over three floors, it has a good amount of space for six people with the added benefit of two bathrooms. True to its name, a highlight of the property is the amazing view out over the saltmarsh towards the sea.

Offering easy access to the quayside, shops, pubs and restaurants in the town, Saltmarsh is perfectly located for a seaside holiday. Not only within walking distance of the fish and chip shop and seafood restaurants, you also have a great selection of scenic walks and nature reserves to explore as well as glorious beaches along the coast.

If you want to head out of the town, you can join the coastal path along the Norfolk Coast Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty or just relax on the spectacular sandy beach. A 25-mile drive to the east, the popular seaside resort of Cromer offers a family day out, with its pier, attractions and Amazona Zoo, and the cathedral city of Norwich can be reached within 35 miles.

The most northerly county in the East of England, Norfolk is a land of beautiful contrasts. From the swooning reed beds and endless maze of waterways in the Norfolk Broads; the unspoilt stretches of fens and shingle spits where bird and wildlife thrive; a famous royal palace and the historic cathedral city of Norwich, this enticing area of England is just waiting to be discovered. Visit Sandringham Palace and see where the Queen lives or find out where lavender grows; you could journey to one of the largest seal haul outs in Europe at Blakeney Point or have a traditional day at the seaside at Cromer and Great Yarmouth. The cathedral gilded city of Norwich is a wonderful place to lose yourself either walking the ramparts of Norwich Castle or the RAF Air Defence Radar Museum. The city has an exceptional array of shops, cafes and restaurants to enjoy. Well connected to the national rail and road network, Norfolk is easily accessible from London, the M25 and from major city terminals.

Norfolk is characterised by its horizons and big skies, straight highways and rural trappings. Also, when it comes to attractions, visitors to the county will be spoilt for choice. If you love animals and birds, head to RSPB Titchwell Marsh, or the Cley-Next-The-Sea. With such a long coastline Norfolk boasts some magnificent stretches of beach – favourites include Cromer, Old Hunstanton, Wells-Next-The Sea, the dunes of Winterton-on-Sea, and Brancaster (a favourite for dog owners).

There are so many places to visit and activities to get involved in on a Norfolk holiday. We have some lovely properties including country cottages, farm conversions, large family houses, apartments and surburban home from homes in our collection. Why not find your perfect holiday home today?
