Sleepers The Sidings

Sleepers is one of two identical properties in the pretty village of Burnham Overy Staithe, which can be booked with Buffers End to offer space for up to 15 guests. Both contemporary houses with a traditional feel, they are spacious inside and out. Well-equipped and comfortably furnished, they provide a relaxing base for a family holiday on the North Norfolk coast.

The staithe itself is just a short walk down the lane.   The perfect spot for crabbing, playing around in the water or walking along the cockle path to the beach.   Burnham Overy staithe is a place of outstanding natural beauty and Sleepers provides the perfect location for exploring the best of what North Norfolk has to offer.

The village is one of the most popular along the coast and from the cottage you can walk to the creek which is under a quarter of a mile away. Here you will find the popular Hero pub, a great place to stop for a spot of lunch, and you can also join the Norfolk Coast Path which will take you out to the sand dunes and Holkham Bay.

For a larger selection of shops and restaurants, Burnham Market and the other Burnham villages are just a short drive away, and the beautiful seaside town of Well-next-the-Sea is 5 miles from the cottage. There you can hop aboard the steam train to Walsingham or visit the country house attraction of Holkham Hall. Blakeney Point Nature Reserve is a 12-mile drive away and worth an afternoon out.

This property is next door to Buffers End which is an identical house and these houses may be booked together to provide accommodation for up to 14 people.

• 2 dogs allowed. Dogs are charged at £20 each per full or part week
• There is an Accidental Damage Deposit of £350 when booking at this property, however this may be waived for £40. We’ll provide more details about this when booking your holiday.
