Over the last 7 years I have booked and stayed at quite a few cottages. It was very well equipped extremely clean and bright. I would have to say the landlord has put a lot of effort in covering everything. It is bright airy and very homely. I would have to say that it was the best cottage we have stayed in. The garden was amazing so much room; witRead moreh plenty of seating in different parts of the garden. First class and would recommend friends and family! Hide

We stay in holiday cottages in Norfolk around four times a year and Southmill Cottage was the cleanest cottage we have stayed in. Plus the owners have a great attention to detail.

The cottage was very clean and comfortable - everything you could wish for (except the colder weather which was why we left a bit early). The area was very nice and we saw some great things and birds that are not so familiar to us.Please thank Kerri for her very kind zip out to us last Friday to explain how to use the TV/Sky - we never did find theRead more instructions for this so it was very helpful that she came to sort us out and so quickly too. All in all a good stay in a very different part of UK for us. Hide

The most northerly county in the East of England, Norfolk is a land of beautiful contrasts. From the swooning reed beds and endless maze of waterways in the Norfolk Broads; the unspoilt stretches of fens and shingle spits where bird and wildlife thrive; a famous royal palace and the historic cathedral city of Norwich, this enticing area of England is just waiting to be discovered. Visit Sandringham Palace and see where the Queen lives or find out where lavender grows; you could journey to one of the largest seal haul outs in Europe at Blakeney Point or have a traditional day at the seaside at Cromer and Great Yarmouth. The cathedral gilded city of Norwich is a wonderful place to lose yourself either walking the ramparts of Norwich Castle or the RAF Air Defence Radar Museum. The city has an exceptional array of shops, cafes and restaurants to enjoy. Well connected to the national rail and road network, Norfolk is easily accessible from London, the M25 and from major city terminals.

Norfolk is characterised by its horizons and big skies, straight highways and rural trappings. Also, when it comes to attractions, visitors to the county will be spoilt for choice. If you love animals and birds, head to RSPB Titchwell Marsh, or the Cley-Next-The-Sea. With such a long coastline Norfolk boasts some magnificent stretches of beach – favourites include Cromer, Old Hunstanton, Wells-Next-The Sea, the dunes of Winterton-on-Sea, and Brancaster (a favourite for dog owners).

There are so many places to visit and activities to get involved in on a Norfolk holiday. We have some lovely properties including country cottages, farm conversions, large family houses, apartments and surburban home from homes in our collection. Why not find your perfect holiday home today?
