A bijou barn conversion offering welcoming accommodation for two guests, boasting a private walled garden and a first-class location in the splendid town of Holt in North Norfolk.

Located in the heart of the beautiful Norfolk town of Holt, this bijou barn conversion is the perfect hideaway after a day spent enjoying the surrounding boutiques and eateries. With its own parking space at the front of the property, as well as a spacious bedroom with beamed ceiling, a Victorian-style roll-top bath in the bathroom, a pretty walled garden and a cosy lounge, romance is sure to blossom here. Please note that due to the period and style of the property there are some areas of low head-height.

Step out of the front door and make the most of the independent shops, the excellent choice of restaurants, pubs and cafes, and admire the lovingly maintained Georgian architecture: there is a weekly famers' market if you need to stock up on local produce. Holt Station is a stopping point for the North Norfolk Railway line where you can hop aboard a heritage steam train and take in the sights, or if you fancy a walk, the Holt Country Park is 1 mile away with a network of trails around its woodland and heathland.

Drive 4 miles north of the town to reach Norfolk’s coastline which is peppered with picture-postcard harbour towns, peaceful nature reserves and sweeping stretches of sandy beaches. For those interested in history, the ruins of Baconsthorpe Castle are also 4 miles away and make a great spot for a picnic, while Sheringham Park (5 miles) offers National Trust events throughout the year.

Dogs are charged at £20 each per full or part week.

Great central location close by to shops, pubs and cafes but quiet. Really comfortable bed so a great nights sleep.

Great location and ideal for two. Quite peaceful and very relaxing as there is no phone signal but the wi fi works very well. Ideal location for getting to just about the whole of North Norfolk. Lots of places to eat in Holt no need to get the car out at all. Good food shops no problem in getting just about anything you need.

Ideal situation in Holt....parking was alright, but attention to needs of others was a consideration. However, to have the parking was a bonus. Lovely town with independent shops with a wonderful array of food products as well as wonderful eateries. Plus a beautiful park to walk the dogs a 10 minute walk away.

The most northerly county in the East of England, Norfolk is a land of beautiful contrasts. From the swooning reed beds and endless maze of waterways in the Norfolk Broads; the unspoilt stretches of fens and shingle spits where bird and wildlife thrive; a famous royal palace and the historic cathedral city of Norwich, this enticing area of England is just waiting to be discovered. Visit Sandringham Palace and see where the Queen lives or find out where lavender grows; you could journey to one of the largest seal haul outs in Europe at Blakeney Point or have a traditional day at the seaside at Cromer and Great Yarmouth. The cathedral gilded city of Norwich is a wonderful place to lose yourself either walking the ramparts of Norwich Castle or the RAF Air Defence Radar Museum. The city has an exceptional array of shops, cafes and restaurants to enjoy. Well connected to the national rail and road network, Norfolk is easily accessible from London, the M25 and from major city terminals.

Norfolk is characterised by its horizons and big skies, straight highways and rural trappings. Also, when it comes to attractions, visitors to the county will be spoilt for choice. If you love animals and birds, head to RSPB Titchwell Marsh, or the Cley-Next-The-Sea. With such a long coastline Norfolk boasts some magnificent stretches of beach – favourites include Cromer, Old Hunstanton, Wells-Next-The Sea, the dunes of Winterton-on-Sea, and Brancaster (a favourite for dog owners).

There are so many places to visit and activities to get involved in on a Norfolk holiday. We have some lovely properties including country cottages, farm conversions, large family houses, apartments and surburban home from homes in our collection. Why not find your perfect holiday home today?
