St Benedicts Cottage is set within the conservation area of the famous and beautiful Medieval village of Little Walsingham. This traditional mid-terrace flint cottage is a cosy home from home and its central location makes it perfect for exploring the whole of North Norfolk. Facing the shrine grounds, this property has been renovated to provide a comfortable traditional cottage with a modern touch.

The cottage is a short walk to the excellent Walsingham Farm shop where you can stock up with wonderful local produce. It is also under half a mile from Walsingham Abbey with its medieval pilgrimage shrine and a selection of lovely churches. The Shrine of Our Lady of Walsingham is a popular choice and there are also some lovely little shops to browse should you wish.

Hop aboard the vintage steam train on the Wells and Walsingham Light Railway which will take you to Wells-next-the-Sea where you can walk around the delightful town, relax on the spectacular beaches or explore the nature reserves. Wonderfully quiet village (at this time of year), sleep no problem. Very well equipped, particularly the kitchen. If you like to cook, no problem. Felt like a home not a rental. Will return to visit some more of the good things available in Norfolk, nothing is very far by car from this central location.

The cottage was very clean and in a splendid location. The CO2 alarm was beeping when we arrived so we took the battery out and left it. Although we did take our own towels it would be nice if they were supplied as we could have done with the space. The fridge appeared to have a leak as there was water inside but we just moved food away from it. ItRead more was strange not to have a clock. I would put nets at the main bedroom window as u can look straight into the bungalow opposite so they can do so Hide

Beautiful, quirky cottage. Tastefully furnished with all mod cons and in great location. Anglican shrine literally just across the road. Walsingham is tranquil and like stepping back in time. Also, the parking situation was no problem, as it was just a short walk away. A beautiful cosy cottage in a really good location to visit multiple beaches on the Norfolk coast. Very disappointed with the cottage. It was old fashioned, particularly the heating system. Almost the first thing we saw was a cleaning pack, but the cottage was not very clean! We stayed at the cottage in August 2022, our second time there. The location and facilities are excellent, with the lovely Walsingham farm shop opposite.
