Close to the North Norfolk coast, this charming flint and weather-boarded property offers a slice of village life. Arranged in an upside-down layout, the open-plan lounge/kitchen/diner enjoys rural views through extensive windows and has been decorated in a contemporary and laid back style. Outside, a private patio area is ideal for al fresco dining and ample parking is available off road. Perfect for romantic escapes for two.

Approached via winding country lanes, this property lies in the peaceful village of Paston with wonderful scenic walks available from the doorstep. The Victorian seaside resort of Mundesley is less than 2 miles away, boasting beautiful beaches, a nine-hole golf course and rockpools. This also marks the start of a fantastic circular walk through woodland and wildflowers.

The seaside town of Cromer is just 10 miles away, with its unique pier show, sandy beaches and amusements, while the traditional fishing village of Sheringham is also only 15 miles away, home of the famous North Norfolk Railway. Wildlife lovers shouldn’t miss a visit to the seal colonies at Blakeney Point, a 25-mile drive while no trip to Norfolk would be complete without a day trip to historic Norwich (20 miles).

The cottage is very well designed and has everything you would need for a short break. The owners are lovely and are only too willing to offer advice and recommendations and are both a mine of information on local places to visit etc and are great to simply stand and chat with. My only criticism is the bed was a little firm for my liking but this iRead mores a personal preference and am sure that others would find it more than adequate. Would definitely stay again! Hide

A lovely upside down cottage, tastefully decorated and very well equipped. We wanted for nothing. The owners were friendly, there for us if we needed anything. The cottage parking space was not big enough for our car so they happily suggested we could park on their private parking area. A great base from which to explore the area.
