A nice cottage with lots of space. Our son loved the big garden. Well positioned to visit Wells, Holkham and Brancaster beaches. Property had lots of equipment to use and was very clean.

This cottage is in an excellent quiet location, not far from some excellent places to visit such as Sandringham, Blickling etc.

Perfect for the price. Central to all the things we wanted to see in beautiful Norfolk. Could be an issue getting into the drive from the narrow lane if you had a large car eg range rover. Would have been nice to have more than 2 matching mugs. Shame the village pub didnt do any food though it advertised it.

Cottage is at the end of the village, long walk to nearest pub. No shop in the village to get any groceries. Good road links to main road. Need to take a hair dryer with you .

We had a very nice welcome. There was suitable equipment for everything we wanted to do. It was lovely to sit in a quiet garden in the intervals of sunshine we enjoyed, and the whole environment was very peaceful . Also in cold spells, when it rained, the heating was effective.

Perfect location for us, the village of Colkirk is off the beaten track and quite peaceful (very little thro traffic). Nice little pub (Crown) just 10 min walk up road. The owners only a couple of doors away so handy if needed but we only saw them at beginning and end of our week.

The most northerly county in the East of England, Norfolk is a land of beautiful contrasts. From the swooning reed beds and endless maze of waterways in the Norfolk Broads; the unspoilt stretches of fens and shingle spits where bird and wildlife thrive; a famous royal palace and the historic cathedral city of Norwich, this enticing area of England is just waiting to be discovered. Visit Sandringham Palace and see where the Queen lives or find out where lavender grows; you could journey to one of the largest seal haul outs in Europe at Blakeney Point or have a traditional day at the seaside at Cromer and Great Yarmouth. The cathedral gilded city of Norwich is a wonderful place to lose yourself either walking the ramparts of Norwich Castle or the RAF Air Defence Radar Museum. The city has an exceptional array of shops, cafes and restaurants to enjoy. Well connected to the national rail and road network, Norfolk is easily accessible from London, the M25 and from major city terminals.

Norfolk is characterised by its horizons and big skies, straight highways and rural trappings. Also, when it comes to attractions, visitors to the county will be spoilt for choice. If you love animals and birds, head to RSPB Titchwell Marsh, or the Cley-Next-The-Sea. With such a long coastline Norfolk boasts some magnificent stretches of beach – favourites include Cromer, Old Hunstanton, Wells-Next-The Sea, the dunes of Winterton-on-Sea, and Brancaster (a favourite for dog owners).

There are so many places to visit and activities to get involved in on a Norfolk holiday. We have some lovely properties including country cottages, farm conversions, large family houses, apartments and surburban home from homes in our collection. Why not find your perfect holiday home today?
