If you are looking for a traditional, unpretentious holiday home that's close to a beach, in one of the best locations along the North Norfolk coast and has lots of space and accommodation in which you can feel relaxed and at ease, then The Burrow is for you. You can barbeque outside in the large enclosed garden, benefit from two en-suite bathrooms and views across the garden from the bedrooms, and have the use of three bicycles and table tennis table left by the owners.

The beach is near the property, as is the well-known links golf course at Old Hunstanton. At the top of the drive you can explore the North Norfolk Coast Path. Old Hunstanton has a local village store and post office which sells fresh produce, a cafe, number of pubs and restaurants.

Wander down to the beach each morning for a paddle in the ocean; this stretch of sand is also good for kitesurfing and windsurfing. The front is lined with eateries and you can see unusual fish at the Sea Life Sanctuary. It's less than 4 miles to the Heacham Lavender Fields and 6 miles to the family-friendly Snettisham Park.

Dogs fees are charged per dog at £20.00 for up to 7 nights, £40.00 for up to 14 nights and an additional £20.00 for every week or part week thereafter.

Location

Note: As the postcode is used to identify the general area of the property, it may not always reflect its precise location, therefore please only use this map as a guide.

The most northerly county in the East of England, Norfolk is a land of beautiful contrasts. From the swooning reed beds and endless maze of waterways in the Norfolk Broads; the unspoilt stretches of fens and shingle spits where bird and wildlife thrive; a famous royal palace and the historic cathedral city of Norwich, this enticing area of England is just waiting to be discovered. Visit Sandringham Palace and see where the Queen lives or find out where lavender grows; you could journey to one of the largest seal haul outs in Europe at Blakeney Point or have a traditional day at the seaside at Cromer and Great Yarmouth. The cathedral gilded city of Norwich is a wonderful place to lose yourself either walking the ramparts of Norwich Castle or the RAF Air Defence Radar Museum. The city has an exceptional array of shops, cafes and restaurants to enjoy. Well connected to the national rail and road network, Norfolk is easily accessible from London, the M25 and from major city terminals.

Norfolk is characterised by its horizons and big skies, straight highways and rural trappings. Also, when it comes to attractions, visitors to the county will be spoilt for choice. If you love animals and birds, head to RSPB Titchwell Marsh, or the Cley-Next-The-Sea. With such a long coastline Norfolk boasts some magnificent stretches of beach – favourites include Cromer, Old Hunstanton, Wells-Next-The Sea, the dunes of Winterton-on-Sea, and Brancaster (a favourite for dog owners).

There are so many places to visit and activities to get involved in on a Norfolk holiday. We have some lovely properties including country cottages, farm conversions, large family houses, apartments and surburban home from homes in our collection. Why not find your perfect holiday home today?
