Retaining all of its original charm through exposed beams, vaulted ceilings, wooden flooring and timber-framed windows, the property also boasts a wood burner for chillier evenings. Outside find plenty to entertain guests of all ages, from a hot tub to a table tennis table and even a set of Go Karts. With four king-size rooms and two twins, it’s perfect for celebrating special occasions with friends and family.

The village of Long Stratton is less than 4 miles away and hosts a selection of shops, tearooms and pubs: perfect for stocking up on supplies or enjoying hearty meals out. Have a morning stroll before stopping for something sweet at Tudor Bakehouse, or enjoy Sunday lunch with all the trimmings at The Swan Inn.

Head to the coast to discover Norfolk’s string of beautiful sandy beaches, including Waxham (37 miles), plus the charming Suffolk seaside towns of Southwold (26 miles) and Aldeburgh (32 miles). Culture lovers can choose between the National Trust’s Sutton Hoo (32 miles), and Blickling (34 miles), while younger guests would enjoy Banham Zoo (16 miles) and BeWILDerwood (25 miles).

Stunning house with excellent accommodation and facilities. The circular stairs may be a challenge for some but does add to the charm if the house. Everything you could wish for to keep both adults and children amused.

Lucy & Chris made us feel really welcome. The house is very large but really homely. The secure garden areas were fantastic for our two 3year old Grandchildren and the wider grounds and large pond were lovely for walks for the adults. There is ample equipment supplied and lots of toys for young and old guests.
