A comfortable bungalow for four guests, situated in a quiet area of Wells-next-the-Sea, within walking distance of the town centre and 1.5 miles from the town’s beautiful sandy beach.

The Lanes is a well presented bungalow in a quiet cul-de-sac in Wells-next-the-Sea on the North Norfolk coast. The property has been decorated to provide a bright and comfortable holiday home, ideally suited to a couple or a small family at any time of the year. It is also ideal for someone with limited mobility, owing to it all being positioned on the ground floor. The private enclosed garden is the perfect spot for a BBQ on sunny afternoons.

This self-catering holiday home is situated at the rear of the town out of the hustle and bustle, but just a short walk from shops and pubs, and 1 mile from the quay through the many little lanes which thread through this beautiful seaside town. There's even a Pitch and Putt Golf Course just 1.5 miles away, or even closer to home, visit the Wells and Walsingham Light Railway.

For a wildlife-filled day out, Pensthorpe Natural Park is just over 11 miles from your door, where you can encounter flamingos, Cranes and maybe a Red Squirrel. For something different, marvel at the architecture at Holkham Hall – the 18th century stately home is only a 3.5-mile drive.

Dogs are charged at £20 each per full or part week.

An excellently situated compact bungalow at the back of the main part of Wells-next-to-Sea. About 10-15 minute walk to the quay. A good enclosed safe garden for dogs and children. Well equipped.

The fact that this last stay was our 6th or 7th in the same cottage, we try to get away for a while in spring and autumn and would not think of going anywhere else nowadays . The cottage is a real family home and you feel welcome as soon as you arrive, from the nice biscuits left out to the local information booklets and recommendations for eating Read moreetc. Hide

Feb 2020. Property warm and everything worked. Description is accurate, its not up to date decor, however it was value for money. Beds very good. Bedding and towels provided. Parking a little tight on entry due to small wall placed just at tyre height, but once in its fine. Great location, good garden for dogs.

A cosy house with plenty of useful equipment in the kitchen for self catering. Nice garden with seating for good weather and off road parking is a bonus in this area. Good for two adults or two plus small children but small for four adults

Excellent bungalow, warm and comfortable with a well enclosed garden, and wifi provided. Ten minutes walk to Wells harbour front pass the shops on Straithe street. Don't expect the latest modern kitchen and bathroom, but we found it ideal for the week with everything we needed.

Lovely little bungalow, very warm and comfortable with a lovely garden perfect for sitting out in and for the dogs to roam after a long day at the beach. A 5 minute drive to the Quay meant it was a perfect location in a very quiet close. Unfortunately our dogs have recently had operations so we did not attempt walking to the Quay from the bungalow Read morebut it would probably be no more than 10 minutes by foot. It was very nice to have access to some condiments left in the cupboard also. Hide

Location brilliant. Enclosed garden for dogs ideal especially since the fence by the back door has been moved. Comfortable adequate facilities.

Nice bungalow in a secluded cul de sac. Very quiet. A fairly large garden which was good fo our dog. Bicycles in the shed for our use if we wanted to (& helmets & a padlock & chain). Only a 10 minute walk from town centre.

The cottage was too small to accommodate four adults with limited storage space for clothes etc. Rather old and tired both inside and out. The one redeeming factor was its location, very quiet and within easy reach of the pub and shops

We had a great week here with our 2 dogs. It isnt a boutique style property so dont expect wood burners or hotel style walk in showers. And we wouldnt put it on our list of romantic getaways. But it is very clean and has everything you need. It has a fully enclosed garden for dogs (or kids!). And it is so close to some amazing beaches at Wells, HolRead morekham and Brancaster which are all within a 5 to 15 minute drive. Highly recommended for a relaxing getaway. Hide

Spotless, comfortable accommodation in a very quiet location. Thoughtful touches include the welcome pack: everything we needed for that first cuppa. WiFi and towels a bonus. A real home-away-from-home!
