Up to two people are welcome to stay at the inviting holiday home in Bawdeswell. Savour the central position of the bijou abode for getting out and about in the countryside or out to the coast – or simply relax beside the wood burner inside or in the private hot tub out in the garden.

Open the door after each adventure out to find yourselves in a bright, airy, open-plan lounge/kitchen/diner/bedroom, with a stylish interior. Fire up the wood burner and settle on the sofa to watch the Smart TV for a while before planning the next day’s activities in scenic Norfolk. Head to the kitchen area to whip up a delicious meal for two with the fresh country or seafood produce this part of the world is renowned for. Dine together inside at the table or out on the deck in the glorious sunshine on fine days. Enjoy a hot shower before turning in for the night then enjoy a comfortable sleep in the double bed. Make the most of your delightful enclosed garden whenever the weather is warm. Stoke up the wood-fired hot tub, sizzle supper on the BBQ and soak up the tranquillity. Lace up your walking boots and stroll 2 miles to picturesque Foxley Wood, which is known for its many species of colourful butterflies. Drive 3 miles to Themelthorpe to pick up the Marriott’s Way or 4 miles to Whitwell where you can hire bikes to follow a section of the 26-mile route. Have a day out at the National Trust’s Blickling Hall, 12 miles away, or in Sheringham, on the coast, 21 miles away.

Very clean tidy and compact cottage, great location to enable to explore the east coast, great for bikers with the Marriott Trail 4 miles away. Hot tub takes some getting use to!! All in all a very nice place to stay.

Lovely little lodge with very friendly and helpful hosts! Pauline and David went over and above to make our stay comfortable. Lodge was spotlessly clean with a lovely welcome pack available on arrival. We did find the noise from the road a little annoying but I guess it depends on what you are used to- we have no passing traffic where we live so waRead mores something we are not used to. The lodge is a hidden little gem. Spotlessly clean with everything you could possibly need and very comfortable. The garden is so pretty and the hot tub fantastic! You do need a car but a good local shop and pubs serving lovely meals are within a few miles. The cottage was absolutely beautiful. The location is perfect - so quiet and ideal for exploring all of the attractions in North Norfolk. We loved all the personal touches from the owners such as bread, jam, eggs being there when we arrived, and information packs they had made on what to do during your stay. Absolutely lovely!! The weather wasnt on our side the whole time, but when it was, it was lovely to sit outside and it is not far to the nearest town or beach. Lovely little touches from the owners that made the cottage seem so homely and welcoming!! Cant wait to stay here again

We just had a lovey long weekend here. Everything was well thought out from a welcome pack of bread, milk, eggs and even prosecco! All the cupboards were full of all the gadgets for cooking right down to a garlic presser! The accommodation had a lovely clean, relaxing feel to it and having the hot tub was just what we needed. The property was absolutely spotless on arrival and very covid-safe. Cooking facilities were good, as well as a comfortable bed and Netflix on the television. The weather wasnt on our side during our visit so cant comment on what there is to do around the area. Nevertheless wed be happy to return.

It was a fantastic stay! The hot tub is amazing and your stress melts away with a soak. It takes about 2-4 hours to heat up the tub so I suggest making a meal and having some drinks while you continue to feed the hot tubs fire. I adored the indoor fireplace. Perfect little cottage for 2. Fantastic loacation. 30 minutes from the beach and 30 minutes from Nowrich. The hot tub was a nice luxury to have. Didnt take as long to heat up as stated, just use extra dry logs and patience. We would definitely go back.

What a gorgeous, bijou little studio cottage in which to spend a holiday! We loved lying in bed looking through the skylight above us at the autumnal leaves; building a fire in the wood burner in the evenings; sitting in the hot tub under the stars. The description of the property could lead one to think the main source of heating is the wood burning stove. This property has state of the art heating and does not rely on one source. It is hard to believe that even in the depth of winter the stove would be anything other than lovely to have.

A lovely lodge that is perfect for two people. All very new and beautifully furnished. Great location for exploring North Norfolk. Friendly and helpful hosts. Off road parking which is a must for us. Very thoughtfully equipped.
