Book a truly special stay at this unique Norfolk holiday home that was once a chapel. Located at Smallburgh, on the edge of the picturesque Norfolk Broads, this exquisitely finished, three-bedroom property sleeps six guests. Head off on long walks through your beautiful surroundings; hire a day cruiser from Wroxham, 5 miles away, to explore the waterways; organise days out to the beach at Sea Palling, 7.5 miles away, or Happisburgh, 8 miles away.

Take a step up into this characterful house, which has an original low door and some low ceiling beams upstairs. Find yourselves in the open-plan lounge/kitchen/diner, with its gorgeous features, including a stained glass window. Switch on the Smart TV; light the wood burner and wander through to the kitchen area to make a fresh cup of coffee. Prepare delicious holiday meals in here too then serve up in the dining area. Take one step down from into the snug, where there is another TV. Discover the family bathroom, with its freestanding bath, and one of your bedrooms also at ground-floor level. This room has a double bed that can be made up as twins in advance. Venture up to the first floor to find two king-size bedrooms, one with an extra single bed, and a family shower room. Pull back the doors from the kitchen/diner to bask in the warmth of the Norfolk summer sunshine out in the courtyard and to dine outside. Find parking for two cars at the property.

Take the children to woodland adventure park Bewilderwood, 5.5 miles away, and visit the National Trust’s spectacular Jacobean mansion Blickling Hall, 11.5 miles away, where you can all wander through the expansive grounds. We had a lovely Easter break. The chapel is a great property. The beds were extremely comfortable and the downstairs bathroom is massive. A good locations to explore the area. The sofa was pretty uncomfortable however, sorry! The crown pub at the top of the road were very welcoming. Thank you

Absolutely brilliant conversation property with lots of nice touches. Lots of equipment supplied and all the beds made up before arrival. Hands down would go again. Lots of nice walks in the surrounding area and such a quiet area.

Absolutely stunning and spacious property in a fantastic location. We had a thoroughly great time at The Old Chapel, which is stunning throughout. Well kitted out with everything you are likely to need. Ideally located for a short drive out to Cromer, Sherringham, Wroxham Broads and other destinations. Well recommended, lovely part of the country.

Lovely cottage, well equipped and in a good location. Unfortunately the dishwasher wasn't working. The car parking is really tight, especially as my granddaughter has mobility problems.

A very nice, comfortable cottage in a peaceful village. Although parking is available for two cars the spaces are not for large vehicles and the neighbours make it clear with traffic cones that you must not park in their driveways. There is no mobile signal and the internet is intermittent. Having said that, we found the location ideal for the placRead morees we wanted to visit and we would definitely book this accommodation again. Hide

Great location to visit Cromer, Great Yarmouth, Broads and other local areas. It was nicely decorated/furnished and a lot of thought had gone into the property. Would rent again and recommend to others.

As someone who is now disabled, this was not a good choice. The downstairs bathroom was accessed vis 3 other rooms and down a step. Not good in the night. There was a lack of shelf space. Even the shower had nowhere to put soap. Reaching it off the floor was too difficult for me. The corner settee was far too low and the springs were giving out makRead moreing it impossible to get out of without help. Internet speed was so slow as to be almost useless. We found using 4G was faster. Hide

The location of the property was ideal for visiting all of the broads and also the coast line. The property was very homely and comfortable especially the large beds.
