Property code: KT177

A single-storey former coach house for five guests, situated alongside three other properties offering shared leisure facilities including a fantastic 30’ indoor swimming pool.

This single-storey property is one of four at Haveringland Hall that have been converted in an Italianate courtyard of fine coach house buildings. Tucked into a peaceful woodland setting, the Clock Tower entrance was built in 1840 on a design by famed Buckingham Palace architect Edward Blore, and is thought to be the only other example of its kind. The decor makes a grand statement, with a marble-top dining table, polished wooden furnishings and ornate light fittings and bedsteads. There are also excellent shared leisure facilities, including an indoor heated swimming pool fed by natural spring water, an indoor games room with table tennis, pool table and a children's play area. Why not book multiple cottages for special celebrations and family get-togethers?

Locally, shops and supermarkets are within an approximate 15-minute drive, and a 20-minute walk will take you to the local pub.

Further afield, take an 18-mile drive to Cromer Beach to feel the sand between your toes – you can even take your four-legged friend as this extremely clean beach is also dog friendly in parts. Otherwise travel the 15 miles to Norwich's ‘jewel in the Broads' crown' – Wroxham where you can jump on a ferry to explore the surroundings.

Dogs are charged at £20 each per full or part week.

The most northerly county in the East of England, Norfolk is a land of beautiful contrasts. From the swooning reed beds and endless maze of waterways in the Norfolk Broads; the unspoilt stretches of fens and shingle spits where bird and wildlife thrive; a famous royal palace and the historic cathedral city of Norwich, this enticing area of England is just waiting to be discovered. Visit Sandringham Palace and see where the Queen lives or find out where lavender grows; you could journey to one of the largest seal haul outs in Europe at Blakeney Point or have a traditional day at the seaside at Cromer and Great Yarmouth. The cathedral gilded city of Norwich is a wonderful place to lose yourself either walking the ramparts of Norwich Castle or the RAF Air Defence Radar Museum. The city has an exceptional array of shops, cafes and restaurants to enjoy. Well connected to the national rail and road network, Norfolk is easily accessible from London, the M25 and from major city terminals.

Norfolk is characterised by its horizons and big skies, straight highways and rural trappings. Also, when it comes to attractions, visitors to the county will be spoilt for choice. If you love animals and birds, head to RSPB Titchwell Marsh, or the Cley-Next-The-Sea. With such a long coastline Norfolk boasts some magnificent stretches of beach – favourites include Cromer, Old Hunstanton, Wells-Next-The Sea, the dunes of Winterton-on-Sea, and Brancaster (a favourite for dog owners).

There are so many places to visit and activities to get involved in on a Norfolk holiday. We have some lovely properties including country cottages, farm conversions, large family houses, apartments and surburban home from homes in our collection. Why not find your perfect holiday home today?
