This comfy Grade II listed barn conversion has been skilfully renovated and retains plenty of original features, including exposed beams, low doors and stone walls. The accommodation is on one level, and features a lovely open-plan lounge/kitchen/diner, as well as a comfortable double bedroom and a shower room. The cottage enjoys a delightful setting, overlooking the duck pond and the 55 acres of the village common, which you are free to explore.

This is one of a pair of cottages nestling in the charming village of Mulbarton, which offers a choice of shops, a fish and chip shop and pub. This is an ideal base for exploring the centre of Norfolk, with the vibrant historic town of Norwich just 7 miles away.

The famous Norfolk Broads are 17 miles away, where you can hire a boat for the day, enjoy a spot of fishing or enjoy the glorious countryside. The coast is also within easy reach, with popular resorts including Great Yarmouth (25 miles) and Lowestoft (35 miles) offering traditional entertainment and golden sandy beaches.

We were very happy staying in the cottage, there was a lovely view of the duck pond from the lounge and dining room window, a good selection of kitchen equipment, all in all very cosy. We had very good meals in the village pub which was only 5 mins away. We would love to stay again.

The location was great, in front of a pond with wildlife, and a common, nice for the dogs. The distance to the Norfolk attractions is reasonable. Unfortunately not very clean, spiders everywhere and visible dirt in the toilet. Because is a old stable divided in two flats, you can hear everything from upstairs.
