Overall a bit tired. However, we felt that it was value for money. The location is good and within walking distance to shops and pub. We took advantage of public transport to acess Norwich. Marked walking routes around the village were simple and reasonably easy to follow. Warm and cosy!

We would have no hesitation in recommending the stables. Although the accommodation was small, it offered us everything we needed for our week's stay. The shower was under powered. People should be aware that the adjacent property extends above the Stables, so there may be noise from above. Elizabeth, the host popped round after a few days to checkRead more that everything was okay, which was nice. It was an excellent base for us to explore Norfolk and Suffolk. Hide

Excellent location for visiting a range of sites/attractions in the Norwich area. Very quiet but all amenities within easy walking distance. The Stable is well equipped with furnishing and decor that matches the age and style of the property. Regular bus service into Norwich.

Very tired decor and furniture as expected but very dirty, cobwebs, dust and grime throughout. I had to remove cobwebs from above bed, wipe down windowsills and surfaces. Windows don't open except for very small vents, if you can reach them. In need of a great deal of TLC and a few repairs. Shame there is no outside area. Good location, opposite thRead moree common and regular bus to Norwich. All in all not a very comfortable stay. Hide

Our first week away with our dog. Lovely location, perfect for going into Norwich and exploring the countryside and surrounding towns and villages. Very cosy, quite small but enough for what we wanted. Met the lady who owns the cottage and she was lovely and very helpful. Galley kitchen ,microwave oven and hot plate was ample for us. Lovely place, lovely owners. Worth taking milk, tea bags, and pack of biscuits as nice to have a drink and biscuit while you look around and decide on plans and shopping lists. Loved our stay. Both heated and unheated airers. THe heaters still heat the room even if you turn them off at the wall. We turned them off the first morning and the radiatorRead mores were still hot on the night before we left - five nights later. The washing machine is able to take a lot and washes quietly and quickly. Hide

Nice little place for one to two people has it is a small cottage, the postcode stops at the houses next door so a bit hard to find even harder at night so could do with a street sign. Location was okay, you can walk to the pub, fish shop and coop,
