An attractive Victorian property offering spacious and stylish three-storey accommodation for six guests, situated in the seaside village of Overstrand, just a stone’s throw from the beach.

The Swallows is a beautiful Victorian property that comfortably sleeps six with sea views from two of the bedrooms. The rooms are large and bright and have been stylishly decorated by the owners. The house is particularly suited to families, especially those with young children, there's a garden where kids can run around and cosy seating for watching films at the end of a busy day.

The cottage is located in the popular coastal village of Overstrand just a short drive from Cromer. The house is up from a sandy beach that's located at one end of the road. If you time it right, you might be able to watch the local fishermen bring in the day's catch. At the top of the road is a pub, local shop and post office – the perfect setting for your Norfolk holiday!

Head to Cromer, only 3 miles away from the village, for a day out and make sure you wander down to the end of the pier for what's believed to be the UK's last end-of-pier show. While here you also must taste the Cromer crab, a local delicacy. Cromer is home to a golf course and Amazona Zoo and just outside town, 5 miles from the property, is Felbrigg Hall & Gardens.

Fantastic holiday cottage - highly recommend. Was very clean, well presented, airy and light, with a big comfy lounge and additional dining seating off the kitchen. Facilities excellent and location great, lovely walk to Cromer along the beach or clifftops, and many places to visit a short drive away. Local pub at the end of the road with nice foodRead more, and cafe at the other end just as close with a great breakfast and lunch menu, both dog friendly. Nothing bad to say! Hide

A perfect location just a short walk to the beach. We immediately felt at home and there was plenty of space to relax both indoors and in the enclosed back garden. The kitchen had everything we needed. Close to Cromer and many lovely walks, its the perfect place to stay.

The house looks a little worn outside but inside is comfortable and homely . It was very clean and had all the items you would need for short stay - kitchen is well equipped , wood burner is lovely and logs were provided . Lots of board games available . Garden is small but adequate . Only thing to be aware of is that it wraps around the house and Read morefront fence is not that tall so if you have a large dog keep it on lead ( ours escaped ! ) Location very good Definitely would visit again Hide

Great location with beach down the road, great cafe & pub all within minutes walk. House has all the necessities and is very oriented towards families, although as 4 adults, the twin beds were really best suited for kids. The house does need a little TLC, e.g. the master has wallpaper that is curling & needs replacement & cleanliness is mostly therRead moree but needs a little more scrutiny (bin in cupboard not emptied, random food bowl under kids beds, random socks found, .) but nothing major to concern Hide

Great location for beach access, the house is spacious enough for a family. Needs some TLC inside and out and the front door lock was a pain!! Could have been cleaner on arrival but we had a relaxing stay.

House is spacious and in a brilliant location - moments from the beach and cafe and pub! It is well equipped and has its own parking space. Central heating seemed to have a mind of its own and there was a smell from the ensuite drain. Cleaning could have been a bit better. However, I would recommend this property 100%.
