The Swallows is a beautiful Victorian property that comfortably sleeps six with sea views from two of the bedrooms. The rooms are large and bright and have been stylishly decorated by the owners. The house is particularly suited to families, especially those with young children, there's a garden where kids can run around and cosy seating for watching films at the end of a busy day.

The cottage is located in the popular coastal village of Overstrand just a short drive from Cromer. The house is up from a sandy beach that's located at one end of the road. If you time it right, you might be able to watch the local fishermen bring in the day's catch. At the top of the road is a pub, local shop and post office – the perfect setting for your Norfolk holiday!

Head to Cromer, only 3 miles away from the village, for a day out and make sure you wander down to the end of the pier for what's believed to be the UK's last end-of-pier show. While here you also must taste the Cromer crab, a local delicacy. Cromer is home to a golf course and Amazona Zoo and just outside town, 5 miles from the property, is Felbrigg Hall & Gardens.

This is the second time we have stayed at The Swallows. It is so close to the beach and has wonderful dog walks nearby, the house is spacious and comfortable. It is also easy to visit other places in north Norfolk such as Cromer, and Felbrigg Hall

This was our second stay at the Swallows, the house is just beautiful and the location perfect for our needs. The kitchen is very practical with plenty of utensils for self catering. We took long walks along the beach and in the surrounding area with our energetic pup, even managed an evening swim in October as it was still so warm. Great place to stay. Really comfortable and spacious. Lots of beaches for our dog to run on with the granddaughters in the area so its perfect place to stay. Lovely house with thoughtful things for children of all ages. Would recommend for a family holiday and would definitely stay again.

A lovely comfortable cottage with plenty of space and amenities. The only small downside for us was the mattress in the master bedroom was uncomfortable but, it might be fine for for someone else. Otherwise we had a fantastic stay and would visit again.

Fantastic cottage and location , all equipment catered for. Fantastic food at cliff top cafe at end of road , worth a visit to Holkham estate and beach and Holt for pretty village shops. Nice walk along dog friendly beach to Cromer.

Fantastic holiday cottage - highly recommend. Was very clean, well presented, airy and light, with a big comfy lounge and additional dining seating off the kitchen. Facilities excellent and location great, lovely walk to Cromer along the beach or clifftops, and many places to visit a short drive away. A perfect location just a short walk to the beach. We immediately felt at home and there was plenty of space to relax both indoors and in the enclosed back garden. The kitchen had everything we needed. Close to Cromer and many lovely walks, its the perfect place to stay.
