Great location for a short break for our family of four and our dog. The decor is plain and simple and everything was easy to find and clean. I liked that extra blankets and dog bowls were provided (although I didn't expect them and brought our own anyway!). On the downside, the bathroom needs some tlc (noisy electrics, leaking shower, missing lighRead moretbulb) and the sofa was more suitable for a conservatory than getting cosy in front of the TV. Fine for three nights, but sadly not for longer. Hide

Our stay at Tystie cottage was very comfortable and cosy, during covid restrictions it was just the place to hideaway for Christmas. We were able to keep to our distance but still managed to get out and about with the dogs. The surrounding area was beautiful if very windy and bleak. but the weather didnt stop us exploring and coming back to the warRead morem comfortable cottage was lovely. Nearby Holt and Sheringham had the necessary essential shops and takeaways so we didnt go hungry. Hide

We had an enjoyable four nights in Tystie Cottage. Great location overlooking the salt marshes, and across to the sea. Off road parking outside the house always appreciated. Great location for walking and bird watching. We did not use the bus service, but know it is frequent and great for getting along the coast. Stops 100 yds from the house.

The most northerly county in the East of England, Norfolk is a land of beautiful contrasts. From the swooning reed beds and endless maze of waterways in the Norfolk Broads; the unspoilt stretches of fens and shingle spits where bird and wildlife thrive; a famous royal palace and the historic cathedral city of Norwich, this enticing area of England is just waiting to be discovered. Visit Sandringham Palace and see where the Queen lives or find out where lavender grows; you could journey to one of the largest seal haul outs in Europe at Blakeney Point or have a traditional day at the seaside at Cromer and Great Yarmouth. The cathedral gilded city of Norwich is a wonderful place to lose yourself either walking the ramparts of Norwich Castle or the RAF Air Defence Radar Museum. The city has an exceptional array of shops, cafes and restaurants to enjoy. Well connected to the national rail and road network, Norfolk is easily accessible from London, the M25 and from major city terminals.

Norfolk is characterised by its horizons and big skies, straight highways and rural trappings. Also, when it comes to attractions, visitors to the county will be spoilt for choice. If you love animals and birds, head to RSPB Titchwell Marsh, or the Cley-Next-The-Sea. With such a long coastline Norfolk boasts some magnificent stretches of beach – favourites include Cromer, Old Hunstanton, Wells-Next-The Sea, the dunes of Winterton-on-Sea, and Brancaster (a favourite for dog owners).

There are so many places to visit and activities to get involved in on a Norfolk holiday. We have some lovely properties including country cottages, farm conversions, large family houses, apartments and surburban home from homes in our collection. Why not find your perfect holiday home today?
