This spacious, comfortable and peaceful cottage is ideally located in a tranquil village in the heart of the picturesque Norfolk countryside, making it an ideal base for exploring this beautiful area.

Wayside is a traditional cottage that has been modernised throughout to create a contemporary escape in the heart of rural Norfolk. Set in the pretty village of Fulmodeston, you can be assured of a peaceful retreat with plenty of tranquil walks and picturesque nature reserves nearby. The house itself has light rooms fitted with all you will need for a relaxing holiday, along with a downstairs shower room. Upstairs there are two bedrooms, whilst outside there is a fully enclosed garden with pretty paving, grass and gravel areas, and roadside parking available out the front of the cottage.

Just three miles from Thursford, the unique attraction is a must-visit in the winter months when the Christmas Spectacular takes place and draws people from near and far. The cottage is also situated just a few miles from Fakenham, a traditional market town with plenty of shops and restaurants for you to while away the hours without heading too far away from your holiday home.

If you'd rather venture to the coast and enjoy a day by the seaside, Cromer (18 miles) boasts all the features of a traditional British coastal town, including a pier, soft sandy beach, and pavilion showcasing some wonderful performances.

The cathedral gilded city of Norwich is a wonderful place to lose yourself either walking the ramparts of Norwich Castle or the RAF Air Defence Radar Museum.
