The lodge was set in a beautiful spot on the edge of a little fishing lake, views from the master bedroom were amazing. There was plenty of little local walks to enjoy with the dog. East Harling is a lovely little village with a very handy shop and two great pubs.

We loved staying at 'Willows Retreat' we had a few hours sailing in the sun on the broads which was the highlight. With many places to eat and drink and every super Market within a few miles it had everything we needed. Lovely quiet area, will definitely be going again some time.

Lovely property, well appointed, beautiful setting and lovely modern decor. Close to local Zoo ( worth a visit ) and even the local fish and chips shop was tasty. River Thet runs behind the property and lovely walks can be had along the banks. Sainsburys 10 mins away. A trip out is required to see the broads. Serene and calm. Hot Tub is fantastic!

Idyllic location, so private and rural with the lake shimmering in the sun. Could hear dogs barking during the day at the weekend and faint revving of engines at Snetterton but no traffic or people. Hot tub was a delight and sunny patio area. Enjoyed visiting local area and brought home some amazing meat from local butcher. Whisky distillery a mileRead more away - enjoyed tour and nice meal in the Kitchen. Hide

Beautiful lodge with a fabulous hot tub which we used everyday with a glass or two of wine. Just be aware that as you are close to a lake you should be aware of midges etc. at night. The property is well positioned for local shop and attractions.

Had an amazing time with our little family. We have a nearly 1 year old and had a lovely romantic getaway. There's lots to do for a family nearby (the zoo and gt yarmouth, lots of walks too), but it was fabulous to be able to put the baby to bed and then relax in the hot tu b. It's a lovely lodge with fantastic, relaxing views over the lake. The owRead moreners are really friendly, as are the local pubs, with very thing you need in the area. Highly recommended. Thank you for a great break Hide

Fantastic, modern lodge and location, very peaceful and scenic. Hot tub was a lovely feature. Shame we couldn't fish when we there because we were told it was out of season but other lodge occupants were fishing when we stayed and immediately afterwards which was still out of season.

The most northerly county in the East of England, Norfolk is a land of beautiful contrasts. The cathedral gilded city of Norwich is a wonderful place to lose yourself either walking the ramparts of Norwich Castle or the RAF Air Defence Radar Museum. The city has an exceptional array of shops, cafes and restaurants to enjoy. Well connected to the national rail and road network, Norfolk is easily accessible from London, the M25 and from major city terminals.
