Located in the peaceful and picturesque North Norfolk village of Thornham, this well-presented bungalow provides a small family or couples the perfect holiday home by the sea.

Escape to the stunning North Norfolk coast, with its expansive, golden beaches and enormous skies. This two-bedroom cottage is situated in Thornham. Stroll just over 1 mile from here, out over the picturesque marshes, to reach the tranquil and secluded sandy beach, or head 3.5 miles to the family-friendly beach at Old Hunstanton. Return to this single-storey holiday home to have a cup of tea out in its enclosed garden and perhaps throw a ball for the canine companion who is very welcome to join you for the stay.

Make your way into your Norfolk home from home. Follow the hall into the lounge, where you can fire up the wood burner and settle down in its cosy glow. Find your favourite programme on the Smart TV or make your way through to the kitchen/diner to rustle up something tasty to serve up later at the table in here. You also have a useful utility room with a washer/dryer and a freezer. As night falls, head off for a hot shower in the family shower room then lay your head in either the king-size bedroom or the double. Wake up and take your first cup of coffee out into the country garden on sunny mornings. Gaze out across the meadows and decide whether to have breakfast out here too. You’ll find parking for two cars at the holiday home.

Beautiful Brancaster Beach, 3.5 miles away, and scenic Holkham, 12 miles away, with their vast open stretches of sand are also great places to take the family for the day. Head to Morston, 19 miles away, to take a trip out past Blakeney Point to see the colonies of seals. The Royal Sandringham Estate, 12.5 miles away and with its 600 acres of parkland and gorgeous gardens to explore, is another great place to visit.

Comfortable cottage, and we have visited many during the last 20 years. Slightly uncomfortable that several personal items were in the property. A jewellery box with jewellery inside. A nice magnifying glass and letter opener. I struggled to do my hair, another accessible mirror would have been useful.

We had a very comfortable stay at Windflowers which has lovely walks from the front door around the village to the coastal path. There is a pretty garden which backs onto a field, so wonderful views from the kitchen! The kitchen is very well equipped and has everything you could need, including an impressive utility area. The bathroom has a great sRead morehower over the bath. Cant wait to go back to this wonderful part of the world and indeed have already booked! Highly recommend. Hide

Lovely bungalow and just love view at back. Beds were really comfortable and good parking. TV could be larger bearing in mind size of room but nonetheless we were very happy staying here. Would come again.

The most northerly county in the East of England, Norfolk is a land of beautiful contrasts. From the swooning reed beds and endless maze of waterways in the Norfolk Broads; the unspoilt stretches of fens and shingle spits where bird and wildlife thrive; a famous royal palace and the historic cathedral city of Norwich, this enticing area of England is just waiting to be discovered. Visit Sandringham Palace and see where the Queen lives or find out where lavender grows; you could journey to one of the largest seal haul outs in Europe at Blakeney Point or have a traditional day at the seaside at Cromer and Great Yarmouth. The cathedral gilded city of Norwich is a wonderful place to lose yourself either walking the ramparts of Norwich Castle or the RAF Air Defence Radar Museum. The city has an exceptional array of shops, cafes and restaurants to enjoy. Well connected to the national rail and road network, Norfolk is easily accessible from London, the M25 and from major city terminals.

Norfolk is characterised by its horizons and big skies, straight highways and rural trappings. Also, when it comes to attractions, visitors to the county will be spoilt for choice. If you love animals and birds, head to RSPB Titchwell Marsh, or the Cley-Next-The-Sea. With such a long coastline Norfolk boasts some magnificent stretches of beach – favourites include Cromer, Old Hunstanton, Wells-Next-The Sea, the dunes of Winterton-on-Sea, and Brancaster (a favourite for dog owners).

There are so many places to visit and activities to get involved in on a Norfolk holiday. We have some lovely properties including country cottages, farm conversions, large family houses, apartments and surburban home from homes in our collection. Why not find your perfect holiday home today?
