Set in the pretty village of Syderstone, Woodlark is a delightful traditional Norfolk cottage that has been renovated and restored to a high standard. This spacious and comfortable cottage is the perfect retreat for couples or small families who want to explore the surrounding countryside. The cottage features a double bedroom with en-suite bathroom and a bunk room ideal for children wth an en-suite shower room. Low doorways and a steep staircase add to the charm, but taller guests may have to duck! Off-road parking for one car is available opposite the cottage.

Syderstone is a small and friendly village, just 10 miles from the seaside town of Wells-next-the-sea. Syderstone Common, just a mile down the road, is lovely for dog walking and wildlife watching.

Woodlark is 10 miles from the working villages of Brancaster and Brancaster Staithe which are in an Area of Outstanding Beauty on the North Norfolk coast. With a glorious beach and thriving fishing and sailing communities,. Nature enthusiasts will enjoy walking through RSPB Snettisham (12.5 miles) and RSPB Titchwell Marsh (11 miles), while beautiful views can be enjoyed along the Norfolk Coast Path. The route joins Peddars Way at Holme-next-the-Sea (11.5 miles) to continue its path inland. Sandringham Estate (10.5 miles), one of the Queen's residences, is a highlight in the area.

We had a fantastic time at Woodlark cottage. The cottage is charming and characterful, the owners have done it up beautifully. The snug was very cosy and it was a bonus to have a spacious dining room. We loved the quirky hidden staircase up to the master bedroom with luxurious en-suite and huge bath. The location was perfect, with Syderstone. CommoRead moren just a few minutes walk away, ideal for morning dog walks and very beautiful too. Only 20 mins to holkham, 15 to Brancaster. Many thanks! A lovely cosy cottage which we loved. The bed was the most comfortable we've had in a rental property. Nice sized bathroom and bedroom but not a huge amount of storage space unless you hang up All your clothes. Good central but quiet location with a beautiful church. A charming cosy cottage in an idyllic rural location. We had a lovely short stay here and found the cottage to be extremely well equipped and a very generous welcome hamper on arrival. The owners have gone above and beyond to make sure everything you could possibly need was on hand, we were particularly grateful that there were beach chairs, a windRead morebreak and even beach towels, buckets and spades to borrow. The stairs to the bedroom were extremely steep but not a problem for us. Lovely garden too! Hide

The cottage was a delight. So welcoming, cosy and comfortable in every way. Due to sunny but unseasonably cold weather, we made use of the little garden summer house - a lovely place to sit, out of the wind, with a cuppa or glass of wine. The tucked away location is very peaceful and a great base from which to explore lovely Norfolk. Lovely quirky and comfortable cottage, in a quiet village location, only c.20 minutes from the north Norfolk coast. A delightful stay in a beautiful part of North Norfolk. The cottage is lovely and clean with everything you need to make the stay fantastic. We visited RSPB Titchwell, Holkam Hall and beach and the Sandringham Estate during the holiday. A great place to stay and relax, or go out and see the sights!

The cottage totally rustic in keeping with the area, plenty of space , kitchen had everything including a dish washer and washing machine, bed lovely and comfy the bathroom and the lovely bath wow.

A beautiful, well kept cottage. It was exactly what we needed for our week away. The garden was perfect for relaxing and was lovely in the morning for breakfast. This was a lovely cottage and big enough for the 4 of us! Everything was perfect both in the house and garden! Beautiful location too! Throughly enjoyed our stay in the cottage, the hosts left a lovely hamper and milk in the fridge. Additionally, dog treats too and shampoo/conditioner. The cottage was clean throughout and the summer house was a bonus for my good lady as she could draw in peace. Beautiful cottage. Very homely and the owners have thought of everything for comfort. We used the garden mostly when we were there and enjoyed the birds singing all around us. Great base for lots of places to visit and dog walkers in the village gave us some good suggestions for walks in the area and dog friendly places to visit.

We found the cottage comfortable well equipped with thoughtful bits of detail also the welcome pack was excellent if we visited the area again would consider staying at the property again as it was well positioned to visit several places. Again the garden was nicely enclosed and well equipped also ideal for our little dog.

Lovely character cottage which has been done up to a great standard. Garden was lovely and peaceful and great being secure to allow our dog to freely come in and out. The owners had clearly put a lot of thought into making our stay comfortable.

A lovely little bolt hole in which to explore beautiful Norfolk and its stunning coast. Its location is perfect so the coast is 15 minutes away and shops and other amenities can be found in Fakenham. The property is a lovely, cosy cottage, kept to a high standard. It was incredibly clean and we really didnt want for anything.
