Ten of the UK

Ten of the UK's top royal residences

Julie Smith 20 July 2021

The UK is home to an assortment of fantastic royal residences that range from Buckingham Palace, the official London residence of Her Majesty The Queen, to Sandringham House in Norfolk which is where the royal family will typically spend Christmas.

We have compiled the top ten royal residences of The Queen, Prince Charles and Prince William and compared them on things such as popularity, history, estimated value and admission costs to see which ones would win in a classic game of top trumps.

Each residence has its strengths and weaknesses so tactical play is essential but as you would probably expect Buckingham Palace and Windsor Castle are the best cards to hold in your deck!

Pick your royal residence cards

For things like popularity (which is based on Google searches), admission fee and estimated value you are looking for the highest number to win the round. For the history category the oldest property takes the round so you’re looking for the lowest number to claim victory.
