A charming terraced cottage offering attractive accommodation for up to four guests, offering a wealth of period features, situated in the quiet Norfolk village of North Creake.

Alice Cottage is a lovely, stylish yet real traditional, cosy, mid-terrace property in the village of North Creake. The house has been extensively renovated and has retained original beams and pamment floor tiles and brickwork along with some real kitsch furnishings provide a real home-from-home. It's perfect for a small family of three and you can also bring two of your four-legged friends along. Outside the garden is mature with outdoor seating and well-enclosed for both dogs and children, although beware if your pooch is especially small and cheeky - they may be able to squeeze through! The River Burn runs along the end of the garden and so pooh sticks are provided!

Within walking distance is the village pub just 2 minutes across the road. Just outside the village are the ruins of a 14th Century Augustinian Priory where there is a regular farmers' market, café and selective shops.

The cottage is ideally placed to enjoy the coast and all that the area has to offer inland. It's just 3 miles from Burnham market – a pretty village with a variety of shops and galleries. Otherwise if you fancy getting sandy toes, head west approx. 20 miles to the lovely Heacham Beach.

Dogs are charged at £20 each per full or part week.

A lovely little cottage, full of character, very comfortable and welcoming. Please do note that this is definitely a two person house (plus a child's bed in second bedroom) - the photos on the website are great but give the impression of more scale! As a holiday cottage though, it's spot on - great location, garden which would be lovely in the spriRead moreng and summer and - if you bring dogs, as we did - it is very dog-friendly with secure fencing and gates. Big thanks for the welcome pack! Hide

small but cosy cottage with a pub within 2 minutes walk. The pub is not currently doing food which was a shame. The welcome pack was a nice surprise. The only negative aspect was the road running outside the cottage is very busy during the morning and evening rush hours.

Lovely cottage, on a very bush road and stairs very steep (not rally suitable for elderly people and the very young).

The cottage is lovely and is a great location to explore the local towns. Our dogs loved the garden. Stairs are not ideal for anyone with mobility problems. No firewood was provided to us. The bed and pillows were very uncomfortable, and need updating. Parking area a bonus but very dark.

I am sure in summer this can be a pleasant stay. It is a cottage where dogs are allowed so understandably there needs to be protection but I have been in cottages that are not so evidently doggy orientated. I trust I left the cottage clean from our dog.

Charming, quaint, clean, cosy cottage and in a picturesque location. Parking space to rear of property is ideal. Lovely walks locally and situated in a prime spot for visiting other nice towns and of course, the seaside. The only problem might be, that the stairs are steep and deep with a tight curve at the bottom.

A small comfortable cottage in a good location. I found the steep stairs a bit treacherous. The garden is not secure for small dogs.

The location of the cottage is good and the provision of off road parking is a bonus considering the very busy road.

Very clean and recently updated, charming, excellent for couple without or with dog. Good selection of books and dvds to hand. We did miss having WiFi, and suggested to owner to consider adding that benefit, other than that we were very satisfied.

The city has an exceptional array of shops, cafes and restaurants to enjoy. Well connected to the national rail and road network, Norfolk is easily accessible from London, the M25 and from major city terminals.
