A characterful cottage with beamed ceilings and a warming wood burner, this property has that cosy cottage feel with a stylish contemporary edge. The kitchen is stylish, as but the lounge and bedrooms have been finished in a homely style which make them wonderfully relaxing spaces to spend time in. The garden to the rear of the cottage offers plenty of space to enjoy outdoor leisure time.

It is easy an easy 0.5-mile walk from this cottage to the beach, ideal whether you are heading down for the day or simply fancy an early morning stroll by the water’s edge. For stunning views make your way to the village’s cliff-top cafe, or perhaps stop for a pint at the village pub where children can burn off some energy in the play area whilst the adults relax over drinks in the beer garden.

Cromer, 2.5 miles from this cottage, is a wonderful place to visit offering the world’s last-remaining traditional end-of-pier show each summer. An excellent range of independent cafes and restaurants give visitors to sample the local crab, or maybe you’d prefer to have a go at catching your own on a crabbing line dangling from the pier. On either side of the prier, meanwhile, the town’s sandy beach is just the spot for sunbathing, beach games, and paddling.

Location

Note: As the postcode is used to identify the general area of the property, it may not always reflect its precise location, therefore please only use this map as a guide.

The most northerly county in the East of England, Norfolk is a land of beautiful contrasts. From the swooning reed beds and endless maze of waterways in the Norfolk Broads; the unspoilt stretches of fens and shingle spits where bird and wildlife thrive; a famous royal palace and the historic cathedral city of Norwich, this enticing area of England is just waiting to be discovered. Visit Sandringham Palace and see where the Queen lives or find out where lavender grows; you could journey to one of the largest seal haul outs in Europe at Blakeney Point or have a traditional day at the seaside at Cromer and Great Yarmouth. The cathedral gilded city of Norwich is a wonderful place to lose yourself either walking the ramparts of Norwich Castle or the RAF Air Defence Radar Museum. The city has an exceptional array of shops, cafes and restaurants to enjoy. Well connected to the national rail and road network, Norfolk is easily accessible from London, the M25 and from major city terminals.

Norfolk is characterised by its horizons and big skies, straight highways and rural trappings. Also, when it comes to attractions, visitors to the county will be spoilt for choice. If you love animals and birds, head to RSPB Titchwell Marsh, or the Cley-Next-The-Sea. With such a long coastline Norfolk boasts some magnificent stretches of beach – favourites include Cromer, Old Hunstanton, Wells-Next-The Sea, the dunes of Winterton-on-Sea, and Brancaster (a favourite for dog owners).

There are so many places to visit and activities to get involved in on a Norfolk holiday. We have some lovely properties including country cottages, farm conversions, large family houses, apartments and surburban home from homes in our collection. Why not find your perfect holiday home today?
