An absolutely lovely place to spend the warmest week of the year. The owner couldn't have been more helpful. All of North Norfolk's beaches within an easy drive (Cromer the furthest at 45 minutes). We cooked all our meals in the cottage and everything was there that we needed. A shame the local pub was shut but very pleasant to sit in the garden wiRead moreth a glass of something cold. Hide

Lovely property, really nice quiet location. There was everything we could need for a lovely restful week. The owner is very friendly and the welcome pack was, indeed, very welcome. The garden looked beautiful but as the weather wasn't great we didn't get to use it. I'm sure in the summer it would be a delightful place to while away a few hours. If you are requiring a quiet holiday in the countryside, this is the ideal location, but within easy driving to the towns and coastline. The cottage is within owners ground, but you are made to feel free to come and go as you please. Everthing is so well maintained and you do not want for anything. It is an extremely comfortable cottage.

The most northerly county in the East of England, Norfolk is a land of beautiful contrasts. From the swooning reed beds and endless maze of waterways in the Norfolk Broads; the unspoilt stretches of fens and shingle spits where bird and wildlife thrive; a famous royal palace and the historic cathedral city of Norwich, this enticing area of England is just waiting to be discovered. Visit Sandringham Palace and see where the Queen lives or find out where lavender grows; you could journey to one of the largest seal haul outs in Europe at Blakeney Point or have a traditional day at the seaside at Cromer and Great Yarmouth. The cathedral gilded city of Norwich is a wonderful place to lose yourself either walking the ramparts of Norwich Castle or the RAF Air Defence Radar Museum. The city has an exceptional array of shops, cafes and restaurants to enjoy. Well connected to the national rail and road network, Norfolk is easily accessible from London, the M25 and from major city terminals.

Norfolk is characterised by its horizons and big skies, straight highways and rural trappings. Also, when it comes to attractions, visitors to the county will be spoilt for choice. If you love animals and birds, head to RSPB Titchwell Marsh, or the Cley-Next-The-Sea. With such a long coastline Norfolk boasts some magnificent stretches of beach – favourites include Cromer, Old Hunstanton, Wells-Next-The Sea, the dunes of Winterton-on-Sea, and Brancaster (a favourite for dog owners).

There are so many places to visit and activities to get involved in on a Norfolk holiday. We have some lovely properties including country cottages, farm conversions, large family houses, apartments and surburban home from homes in our collection. Why not find your perfect holiday home today?
